@deezmav1 At 1:15 she says "BSI". This is perfectly acceptable at NREMT test sites. Verbalizing it keeps test fees down (rather than buying several sets of gloves per examinee) and prevents students from being made nervous and failing due to gloves that may rip or are the wrong size (either too small and tearing or too large and impeding their skills). The focus should be on the skill and not on BSI.
I didnt like it only because for Jefferson we dont ask the proctor anything we ask the patients just as if it were a real situation. but i guess everyone does things differently.
i dont know how it is for around where this class is, but after the introduction, we would assess LOC and A&O levels. also when administering the nitroglycerin, she should have asked if he has taken any erectile dysfunction meds, because nitro would be a contraindication.
@jaime500 i hope a month after your OP you have found the answer but the first hint is the chief complaint "complaining of chest pain" the second hint was pale and sweaty...which in this context probably indicated a rapid pulse and an adjusted by the skin cells (pale color) to redirect a higher demand of blood flow to the coronary artery(the heart's blood source) Short answer is, She probably has good clinical judgment, after awhile you can assess many things quickly

Lol...commenting geniuses. Glad I wasn't such a diva when I was a BASIC student. This was an awesome video, a great assessment and a smart hot medic.

Wow, we had to take all the vitals ourselves instead of asking the instructor what they were. I live in PA, what state was this test in?
