  • 22 people have no place

  • Don't you know that it's soooooo

  • this makes me find the loving to the early Beatles again. :)

  • jahnro618724, yellow submarine wasn't even composed by Ringo, it's one more Lennon/McCartney song, Ringo just sings it!

  • There's a place after all my mistakes... a place for you and me

  • the best -3

  • THE BEST

  • ok um i didnt mean to offend any hard core beatles fans! i was just saying that i liked george harrison. i didnt want to cause any fights and i certainly was not arguing. all of the beatles were amazing. we all have our favorite beatle or mabye we dont but john is the cliche beatle that everyone likes and george never gets any props for being in the band. So all of you people that comment on my comment should stop and mabye comment on how nice the video is and enjoy some good ole fashion music

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar George rules

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar Im a Beatles fanatic. I like all the members but I have to admit this is how I would ranked them according to their skills, songwriting & overall impact to me. No 1 would be John & Paul TIED(cant even say one is better than the other coz they're really so talented). No. 2 would be George Harrison(he's got some good compositions listed as top songs on iTUNES)No. 3 Ringo Starr(I think he's got the good compositions for children like octopus' garden & yellow submarine)

  • @jahnro618724 Ringo is one of the most talented back beat drummers alive. Phil Collins and many other famous drummers have learned from him but you seem to degrade him as a simple children's songwriter.

  • @poltallach ikr. i didn't degrade him though as u interpreted it to be. i just mentioned his great compositions that are more of a children tune-like song. it's not my fault that those are his most popular songs and it sounds like songs for children. besides i think the mentioned songs are great too.

  • Happy Birthday John!!!

  • If only these boys had some focus and made a few records, they could have been as big as the La's......

  • LOL 0:54..... jhon xD

  • lol :19 is funny!

  • this song to me is the best.

  • Notice At 1:24 Ringo standing in the back.

  • There's a place where I can go, when I feel low, when I feel blue, AND ITS THIS SOOOOONNNGG!!!

  • i loooove johns eyes at 0:46 <3

  • Why does this remind of the blues brothers? o.0

  • que padre rola esra bn chida q malo q ya no esta jonh lennon

  • the beatles are amazing

  • Ese lugar al que siempre vamos y en el que se cumplen nuestros más maravillosos sueños, donde nos sentimos que no necesitamos más nada. Esta canción dice mucho para mi. Por siempre The Beatles.

  • En canciones simples como esta, se ve lo grande que eran los Beatles.Ciego el que no lo quiera ver.22 comadrejas.

  • die vier waren mit ihrer kreativät jeweils jahre voraus!

  • they were the best friends and like to great brothers!

  • The pic at 1:12 shows two Hofner basses of Paul's, one of which was stolen shortly after the pic was taken.

Google "fabguitars" and read about the history of all the Boy's instruments.

  • 1:10 dear sweet John, what are you wearing on your head??

  • This is my theme song....I like to make "movies in my head" as I called them when I was little. They're mostly fan fictions, and the one right now is Mikey McCartney and his friend Rachel Ann(fictional) following the Beatles to Hamburg. I made Mikey 10, just to have more of the a'annoying little brother" thing. They went in the boys' suitcases. Don't know how that would work in real life....XD I know I'm weird.

  • could you just imagine if the 2 were together now, writing music ?..would be amazing im sure..

  • John Lennon has a Nazi band but, like beatles style. @:29

  • The best kept secret about the beatles is that there best album is the first one (in my opinion).

  • I get the chills (in a good way) every time they sing "Don't you know that it's so?"

  • I love this song

  • Actualy-- i sneaked ahead in line--iam gonna go play--do you want to know a secret!!!!!!!

  • 1:33 faul

  • @MultiAbc2009 Nope! But I'll let you know if I get abducted by Martians.

  • @jprg1966 Theres a Faul... dont you know that its so?

  • my favorite pic was the last one when john was down on his knee!! there so hottttt

  • Great harmonies...always loved this song.

  • to nebchic, George has always been my favorite; since the early 60's I wish they would hav given him more room, but thier still THE BEATLES . What Aa time

  • 1:06 what concert was that?

i saw someone's video for 'i wannt to be your man'' and it had George, Paulllllly and John dancing so funny,

Anyone know? They were wearing odd suits :P And maracas if that helps?

  • @MissZachBraff This isn´t from an official concert, this is the silly version of the promo clip for Hello Goodbye - 1967, a year after the Beatles stopped playing live.

  • the picture at 1.37 is fantastic! IF it was true...

  • video - SUPERRR

  • the photoshopped one aside, there's STILL pix of the boys i've never seen before. thx for posting.

  • '63 '64 '65 the incredible songs were just pouring out of them

  • amazing photos...newer saw some before

  • THE BEST!

  • 0:23 has to be one of my favourite photos ever. ♥

  • Luv Luv Luv The Beatles

  • @nebchic - you made me laugh... now we will have all kinds of Justin Bieber fans

    mad...LOL!

  • That picture is real because there's another one of them at that same place, different angle and their not sitting on whatever it is they are there. They did meet up in the late 70s

  • BEATLES LIVE FOREVER!

  • This first LP had such an urgent, "crunchy" sound. Possibly the closest thing to their club sound ever produced.

  • I love this song, recently learned how to play it on the guitar while singing. I love The Beatles and just found something really interesting about them, check it out. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then on the main page of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. Every Beatles fan should read this.

  • GENIUS

    DOT!

  • why do people compare legends like the beatles to idiots like the Jonas Brothers

    Beatles forever

  • great pics!!

  • wow these r nice pics

  • LUVV YOU from sioux city

  • bestttttttttttttttttttt

  • From my Portugal I can say: Thanks a lot Beatles, you are the best.

  • BEST OF BEST

  • me too bro

  • i was disappointed when i found out that that photo of post Beatle John and Paul wasnt real...

  • the best songwriters...EVER......

  • John and Paul-----Two of the greatest songwrites of the 20th Century!!

  • thanks Liverpool for giving us the lads .

  • Beatles 4ever.

Today we have cleaner sounds, better productions, more takes and more effects. Still nobody comes close to this epic shit.

  • Uhh... There were 4 of them you know. Hows about the other 2?

  • I absolutely love this song. One of the things that was so good about the Beatles is that all their songs were so individually unique. They didn't have a particular sound.

  • The Harmonica is great sound to convey in this song. Such a lonely sound with great lyrics.

  • This was all live in the studio. No overdubs. They're playing like this and yet harmonizing perfectly. Yep, the hours and hours of club performing in Hamburg had paid off greatly. And they had even more improvement to make! Amazing.

  • A Lennon written song ...

  • Great job...one of the lesser exposed songs by the boys that the listening public wasn't quite ready for, imo.

At 1:09, it shows John & Paul posing with TWO Hofner bass guitars, acting as if they were violins.

I have never seen this photo. Where/when is it from?

Don't you know that it's so?

  • I love they's!

  • went to liverpool n loved it some people r abit ignorant but they wernt from liverpool people from liverpool they r the nicest people ever my mum is disabled n has a walker thing n they helped her get up n tht here where we live not many people do tht so thank you liverpool for helping my mum n for having the beatles live in ur part they hav helped me n been a inspacion sorry for spelling im pretty crap at it lol love for the beatles n liverpool xx

  • DEar God, please bring back John Lennon, and take Justin Bieber instead.

RIP John, one of the greatest musicians who ever lived.

  • @nebchic WHAT ABOUT GEORGE?!?! hes more amazing !!!

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar He's not the one who wrote this song now is he? (:

  • @IzRaiiinI still pretty cool though.... :P

  • Comment removed

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar They all were and still are

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar there both equally GODLY!

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar Agin. if your really into George listen to Jimmy pou ; he's the best George aside from the real thing. jimmy pou .com" listen do you want to know a secret"

  • Comment removed

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar They're all amazing haha

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar It's been described that the Fab Four were the perfect example of synergy: the sum of the whole was greater than the individual parts! They wouldn't have been who they were without ALL four of them.

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar What about Paul?????????????? Saw him live recently and he's lost zero talent over the years.

  • @lollerz16 absolutly hes absolutlly amazing saw him in th millenium stadium, cardiff

  • @MrRocked123 Saw him at Hampden in Glasgow. Best. Concert. Ever!

  • @lollerz16 yeah i agree i seen him about a week after you it was quite an experience :)

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar well how do you know? john was taken so quickly from us, and wait a minute.....why are we fighting over which beatle is better? THEY WERE ALL WONDERFUL!

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar yeahh,.. I prefer John-- not that I don't like George, but John was actually better music vise

  • @RazzberryJamInAJar first off their all equally amazing, second you cant just give some second rate shit to god for them back

  • @nebchic why not bring them back and get them back together...and while were at it we should ask God to make john not interested in yoko... but maybe instead of beiber we should sacrifice the new girl Rebeca black? you now that weekend song.i think its called "its friday" or something. or miley cyrus...or sara palin...all sounds perfect.<3

  • @nebchic Your spot on - RIP both JL and GH

  • @nebchic God's not stupid he likes lennon and harrison up there and probable can't wait for paul and ringo

  • he's too good for this world meow

  • @nebchic John Lennon wouldn't approve of your wishing death upon the Bieb...after all, look at him! He's got a Beatle haircut and we'd have never heard of JB without the Beatles. No one's making you listen to Justin or GaGa or anybody else. Change the station if you don't like an artist!

  • @nebchic what about George?

  • @nebchic AND GEORGE!!

  • @nebchic He Was'nt "One" Of The Greatest Muscisians He Was The GREATEST MUSCISIAN!

  • @nebchic God doesn't want Bieber so don't keep your expectations so high

  • @CanKuman8 k what about....yoko? shes go publicity or or or bublea? ummmmm that one soccer player man from sweden? a virgin?

  • MORAISITO - music - PALHAÇO TRISTÃO - the best

  • PLEASE don't give any more thumbs up to the shouting scouser moron, gizmondo13

If you met him on a bus, he would drunkenly yell at you about how the Beatles are from his home town and how you don't fucking understand -- and he wouldn't shut up without getting a fight.

I'm not basing that on where he's from. I'm basing it on what he wrote.

  • Okay, I need an explanation about how this worked. Although I love Mark Lewisohn, his book on the recording sessions was shall we say : "skimpy on details". I don't blame Mark. It just shows once again that EMI is a bunch of idiots. Mark has said that he needed twice the time he was allocated to do the book properly,

  • Any way, here is my question for this trk. On the morning of 2/11/63 they recorded to 2-track Takes 1-10 of There's A Place. In the afternoon they did the harmonica overdubs onto track 2 (I think ending up using T-13). My ? is how did they integrate the harmonica onto Trk 2? What was on Trk 2 to begin with? Does anyone know in detail how they carried out their business on this track that day? Did allowing for Harmonica o'dub require GM to have total stereo separation. I just don't get this

  • the best ever

  • johns singing voice is probaly the best ever

  • sang this in choir for a concert :D awesome song!!!

  • THE BEATLES ARE #1

  • when i was in second grade we had a mean old spinster as a music teacher one day she had us sing there's a place. Previously i was the modern music kid hypnotixed by pop and the lowest of the low (kidz bop). i heard this and i had immediately fell in love with the beatles and a lot of other classic bands too. However i could never find this song i never remembered the title i just remembered being captivated by it until today (8 years later) i found this while browsing on youtube.

  • Can't remember if this one came on single also, but anyway forming a band we had this one on the list...great song, really

    BEST WISHES!! gizmondo13.x

  • europeans more open to american black music and became great.. why the racism in america that has allowed them to surpass us in music.. we cling to elvis who ironically enough became sucessful through singing black music...wake up america.. can we all just get along and respect one another's gifts of talents?

  • @styminho Without Elvis, there would be no Beatles. they both rock!

  • Oh I do wish the pic towards the end were real :)

  • @wojiaokatya Me again,Ive looked and looked at that particular pic,

and all I come up with, maybe it was in london when they last performed on the roof,

for the album let it be.The only explanation I can give you my friend wojiaokatya,If I find different I will let you konw. gizmondo13.

  • @gizmondo13 yeah - thanksss :) recently found Paul's song "Here Again" and just cried. Oh how they would have patched things up by now...

  • There's a place in the heart of Beatle fans where songs such as these gather and grow more and more special over the years. I am now 53 years of age, and I can tell you that I've been a Beatle fan all of my life, even when I was spring up and down on my rubber legs when I was a kid. Gotta love the Beatles. At least I do.

  • Is pic at 1:40 legit?

  • @lordcapulet1

    You should read the description.

  • one of their quirky minor key accented early hits..what genius...this song came out before they hit it big in the USA

  • Bonjour, vous aimez les sixties ? écoutez et podcastez mon émission "le super son des 60's" sur le site de plumfm. You like the 60's ? please, listen and podcast my broadcast "le super son des 60's", connect to "plumfm". Salut et faites gaffe au rock and roll.

  • Great song choice...not well known but a great tune. I just came back from Europe and my last part of the trip was to Liverpool. It was incredible being in all the places these guys wrote about in their songs, and to see the church yard when John and Paul first met. I know it will sound sacrilegious to some, but it had a sacred feeling to the whole experience. After all, this talent was something beyond the reality we are normally live in.

  • :D i feel soo incredibly good when i listen to the beatles <3

  • No, not Paul + John = God but Paul + John MADE by God. Thanks G!

  • Paul + John = God

  • @spreadtherandomvibe B-b-b-b-but! Picasso is already god O_O... how can Paul and John be God???

  • thereisaplace.info :)

  • Not only are they the greatest songwriting duo ever, they are also the cutest duo too! :D

  • @telesuporte24h without paul they wouldnt be having this song or all the other beatle songs idiot.

  • @telesuporte24h That's not nice.

  • @telesuporte24h wow....thats a pissy lie to tell

  • Their early stuff is dismissed as "pop", but this song rocked me at age 12! "It's my mind"! where i can go! No one was singing this stuff in 1963. It was all puppy love and Elivis imitators. This WAS LENNON singing after all.

  • That was a really nice video. It was very well done and I love the pictures. They were funny and sweet.

  • In John's words, they were "Caesars."

  • soo wonderful and beautiful. a great bond...best friends and brothers. they should deffiently do some sort of huge tribute to the beatles beofre theyre all gone.

  • Omg john att 0:55 XD

  • Superb pictures some rare ones here, well done, love the made up pic of Paul & John, this is a great song, youde never know it was a b side, thumbs up!1..... P.S. Hopefully youll play my cover of Nowhere man im about to try & attach, cheers "keep on rockin" from Foxy!!....

  • i wish that picture was actually real. Paul and John together as older men.

  • Wonderful pics =)

  • The greatest songwriters in the history of popular music. Two ordinary lads from Liverpool who went on to "Bestrode the World"

There are remote tribes in Africa that probably whistle the tune to "Yellow Submarine" and "Yesterday" when going hunting :-)

The Beatles, Led Zepellin, Cream, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Deep Purple, Elton John, David Bowie, Queen, ELO and so many others , Oh how great it is..... to be an Englishman.

  • @starryian007

You forgot Radiohead (and a lot more). There is no denying, the English are masters of modern music.

We are proud to be neighbours says a Dutchman.

  • @alex4allofyou Yeah, Radiohead, Coldplay, Portishead, Deep Purple, The Bee Gees the list goes on. But the Dutch are certainly better at football than we are :-)

    Thanks again.

  • YOKO SUCKS SHE BOKE THE BEATLES

  • @MsBozo09

The Beatles would have broken up with or without Yoko. They were too popular and too competitive with each other not to.

  • @MsBozo09 nope

  • What in the heck is that person in here talking about that these harmonies are off? They are NOT they are pretty much perfect - especially for live vocals. I suspect someone doesn't understand much about musical variations such as majors and minors. I'm guessing you think the harmonica is off key too ROFLMAO

  • best of freinds till tht dam yoko ono

  • splendid, deep lyrics... magic energy that will cross centuries beyond... all we need is love...
