Yeah, that was great, Joel Higgins is truly a gifted actor, I wonder if he's still acting on TV and movies and stuff, his last guest appearance was on an episode of the show "Ed" with Tom Cavanaugh.
In the mid-80's my sister & I sent Joel a fan-letter, & he sent us a photo & letter back in his own handwriting. Now THERE'S an actor that deserves his fame!

By the time he was ten, he had released such songs as: "Dance Baby", "Not Too Young", & "Sneak Away with Me." His first brush with true stardom came in 1983, when he originated the title role of the Broadway musical The Tap Dance Kid, receiving rave reviews for his performance. Don't forget his many Pepsi commercials, and all before Silver Spoons. MJ wasn't the only black man in the 80's you know?
That may be so, my friend. But I'm referring to Dexter's nephew alfonso, not Alf Ribeiro. I do think that alfonso character was just riding the coattails of current trends. My friends and I had a saying about Dexter's nephew alfonso back in the 80's: he's a geek!
