I love all of the "Blink" bands. Blink 182 is amazing, i love Boxcar Racer, Plus 44 was good, and Angels and Airwaves is like the most inspiring music ever, I mean the lyrics are like so moving. It's tom's best if ya ask me, but tom, mark, and travis make the best team ever. When they come together to write music, man it is fucking epic!

Blink is not even remotely comparable to AvA.

This is music with meaning, with a message.

This is tom as an adult and finally writing like one.

actually you're right. Self titled was pretty deep and mature for them. But i have 2 different types of listening moods, as im sure everybody else does. Sometimes i wanna listen to serious stuff and sometimes i just want something to listen to for the hell of it. To me, blink defines the latter, AvA defines the first. We'll just have to see how things play out now that they're back together.

I do think tom has set kind of a double standard for his writing now though.

People need to stop comparing Blink-182 and AVA. The two bands are nothing alike at all. Angels & Airwaves is really fucking good in its own way, as is Blink-182. I love both of the bands, and would be very sad if either one of them ended
