  • How big is that thing? What an illusion!

  • i just tried 2 get a thomas and betts off an arm but i didnt no what tool 2 use cud u tell me what 2 use next time parrot ik all the screws are different on different streetlights but what is perfrect for a thomas & betts or crouse hinds?

  • @2010Freightliner Well for this one, the L250, you need a 9/16 wrench or a deep 9/16 socket with a ratchet. This size is the same for my M400 and OV25 so it should work with other street lights as well.

  • Cree LED for the win. XM/L at 160lm/watt

  • The mercury vapor versions of these lights are pretty scarce, I only saw one on the road in Duquesne Light's service area but unfotunately it got replaced earlier this year.

  • I've seen those in Boston, only 250 or 400 watt High Pressure Sodium. But there is at least one on Metropolitan Avenue in Hyde Park, Boston.

  • Thats one big ass light. nice vid i want to find this kind of light

  • @eyecanthelpit I have one like that. It's has a multitap ballast.

  • Nice breakdown of the fixture. Do you have any idea on how much one of these old lights would sell for?
