every religion has people who go against its teachings, its just that the world judges Islam more harshly due to recent events. What about artists such as Busta Rhymes and Diddy who have recently made a song that is totally disrespectful towards Islam "Arab Money"? who is holding them responsible for their actions: creflo dollar, al sharpton? as a people we should strive towards a collective responsibility but its not just up to islam alone 2 hold people accountable for their actions and speech.

I wanted to know if someone could tell me if islam and muslim preach love why haven't islam and muslim leaders try to put a end to the bad name that Philly muslims rappers preach. Most rap repping muslims about killing people with guns i have never even heard of and bagging them up. Are they not real muslims? Is there something bing done to clear up the name? 2 answer ur question, TRUE Muslims believe in 1 G-d and the Prophet Mohummad is G-d's last messenger. I've heard alot of UNfavorable things abt the Muslim community in Philly. If they do this and calls themselves Muslim this is haram(forbidden) and they r wallad daaleen.(gone astray)

i just read your comment and i have to ask is the same being done of christians repping about murder,sex, and crime? a person is free to live their life the way they choose. no one has the power to force someone to stop speaking ill things; that goes for any religion. It would be against the meaning of islam for me or for any muslim to say well hes not a real muslim or shes not a real muslim. that is for allah and HE alone to judge.

Well the same question could be posed to about 99.9% of the rappers out there today and in the past. Majority of rappers are christian, and they rap about drugs, killing, rape, beating women, etc. So I don't see how you could ask that question.
