Lol The two older ones look like they're dancing and the two little ones look like they're posing for a picture cuz one looks like hes smiling. lol xD
Actually, if you read the description, you would have seen that these birds were in REHABILITATION with a licensed wildlife rehabilitator with WIRES (Wildlife Information Rescue & Education Service). They may look like they're in a "zoo" but they were in care for a short period of time prior to being released back into the wild.
i found a tawny on the roadside, injured. took home. it wont fly away. gave some worms, insects and fish meat. it behave like a baby bird. opens its mouth and eat whatever i give. next day, it layed an egg, just like a chicken egg, but much smaller and pale white. what should i do?? it does feed and drink, but wont sit on the egg. i did leave a flat bowl with straw grass clippings and place the egg on it.
geez they are stunning, and for the record not owls...they have their own class in taxonomy because of the differences to owls, the large beak is one, and the fact they only eat insects (unlike owls which also can eat animals)is another, cant remember all the rest!
The second one from the right is like "BACK OFF MAN, JUST BACK OFF!" lol They are so precious, I love owls. The one on the far right is like "I got this man I got this", but as you can see he doesn't move an inch LOL SO FUNNY !!! More please
It's not just the expressions, it's the mannerisms. The third one is leaning back into his slightly-less-yet-still-shocked-friend, glancing down then back up to size up the marvel then MORE shocked.
The first is scientifically interested in the strange sight. If he had a hand he'd be stroking that beardpuff he's got there.
And the second one is just stoned out of his mind.
I first saw one of these birds at the Minnesotta Zoo last year. Until then, I did not even know they existed. I thought they were owls at first, or some sort of hawk. I had to go back to the zoo again just to see them and find out what they were...so cool...I wish we had them wild in Minnesota.
I'VE TOUCHED ONE!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDD IT's SO EFFIN COOL! :D

Thanks for posting this
