Well anasghost, if you took some time to analyze this or listen to what Tori had to say about it you might not think "Pink and Glitter" is so corny. Its a cometary on our obsession with the birth of a baby boy and Christmas time and its celebrating the birth of a baby girl. In some ways it shares some similarities with the line "We all knew it was a girl back in Bethlehem." Tori is a different woman than she was in 1992. Being a mother and wife changes a person, and that isnt always bad.

I love it. This is from a festive album. The album is her take on religious/festive songs from what she was brought up with, in a very religious home; so I think she should know how to write it.

To me this sends the message that children think Christmas is about presents etc. But it's about what you already have. Your family is your protection, not your toys.
