actually check out vt engines they have an N/A 4.6L cranking out around 600hp and run's 9's in the quarter......and it makes power all the way to 9500 rpm's

The only reason the 03-04 cobras have good engines is because of the stock forged internals. you put the eaton supercharger on a cobra before 03 and say bye bye to your engine. Ford has made one good car and they only made it for 2 years..... They fucked up.

actually both the 03/04 cobra and 02 SS put down low 13sec and high 12sec times in the 1/4 bone stock so its really a drivers race but no matter what the SS is going to out run the cobra bc the SS has the T56 trans and the cobra is limited to 155mph.......I have raced against both cars in my supra and I had alot more trouble with the SS's then I did the cobra's
dont know but I know its nothing compared to the world widely used T56 and its def nothing to brag about......but as far as performance goes ford hasnt had much to brag about anyway

6th the first 4 gears are the same from tremec now the f bodies gearbox every gear is changed up from what tremec uses as its normal set up only ones i can think of is the gto and cts-v that didnt touch the gearbox

considering a 99-04 GT hit 60 in 5.4 and was limited to 155, even a lx coupe 5spd (the only fox body id own) hit 60 in 6.0 and topped at 140. i love the foxes for what they are, but when ford shorts the stang on displacement, you gotta go with the future, and that is OHC technology. with only 5.1L i have 397rwhp, it takes quite a bit more for chevy to get even close, and even then i only weigh 3200lbs vs a LS1 f body's 3700lbs. i am gearing up for a turbo kit soon and then its gonna get crazy

wow your dumb. a stock N/A ls1 can get close to a stock S/C cobras ET. chevy chooses big engines because its smart. its a great high power base. fords fucking stupid for choosing a 4.6 then from a factory add a S/C making 390HP pretty much adding the only way a shitstang can make power other than Nitrous. when Nitrous or a S/C is added to a chevy its in high 400 to low 500HP range just from a power adder with stock internals. so tell me again how ford is better than GM. the lsx and lt1 motor will outpower the 4.6 because they're bigger motor it only makes senes lol....theres no replacement for displacement...but you gotta give that 4.6L some credit in the 03-04 cobra model, they can handle a shit load of hp on stock internals and the only weak link on the 5L blocks is the block itself, cant handle much hp 500hp max then you gotta get yourself a dart or boss 302 block if you wanna go more then that

The only reason the 03-04 cobras have good engines is because of the stock forged internals. you put the eaton supercharger on a cobra before 03 and say bye bye to your engine. Ford has made one good car and they only made it for 2 years..... They fucked up.
LSX blocks will always be better. Tell me a stock ford that can beat a stock LS7 Z06 vette. There isnt a ford out there that can hang.....

actually both the 03/04 cobra and 02 SS put down low 13sec and high 12sec times in the 1/4 bone stock so its really a drivers race but no matter what the SS is going to out run the cobra bc the SS has the T56 trans and the cobra is limited to 155mph.......I have raced against both cars in my supra and I had alot more trouble with the SS's then I did the cobra's

6th the first 4 gears are the same from tremec now the f bodies gearbox every gear is changed up from what tremec uses as its normal set up only ones i can think of is the gto and cts-v that didnt touch the gearbox

considering a 99-04 GT hit 60 in 5.4 and was limited to 155, even a lx coupe 5spd (the only fox body id own) hit 60 in 6.0 and topped at 140. i love the foxes for what they are, but when ford shorts the stang on displacement, you gotta go with the future, and that is OHC technology. with only 5.1L i have 397rwhp, it takes quite a bit more for chevy to get even close, and even then i only weigh 3200lbs vs a LS1 f body's 3700lbs. i am gearing up for a turbo kit soon and then its gonna get crazy
