  • Donovan vvasn't playing xD

  • belgium has some beast players :)

  • i looked at this a million times and i cant see any handball

  • i know the problem with the midfield and why the usa cant really create, its becuz beckerman is in there

  • They dont show you everything they block out ther rest of what the commentators are saying. The USA made a score and it should have been 1-1! If you look at the footage there was no reason to void OUR goal. It seems that FIFA expects the US to play a little harder to get our goals.......

  • oooooooh its a crapy goal :) i'm from belgium and i dont find this offensive at all LOL

  • @flemishnoobit he said cracking (which means exellent) not crapy

  • oooooooh its a crappy goal :) i'm from belgium and i dont find this offensive at all LOL

  • I don't see offsides...

  • @jotg123

hit off the dudes hand, he knows it when the call is made. look how it bounces after he hit it.

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY A thousand years are gonna go by, and your crappy USA soccer team will still suck.

  • :(

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY “When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.” - Wayne Dyer

  • Poor Edu, always getting his goals disallowed..

  • us football team looks more like a football team. i mean american footbal like nfl.

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY It seems they are much much better at jumping our borders than being a great futbol team.

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY hahah true but dont exaggerate im pretty sure soccer is fourth only behind the big three baseball football and basketball

  • i want to see more brad guzan

  • I think the USA will dominate countries like Belgium in soccer soon enough. You can see the US MNT grow as a team. Belgium has never really done very well in soccer, they are a team with ego-trippers and very individualistic pleyers. I've never had much respect for our national team (yes I am Belgian). I'm rooting for US MNT and WNT all the way :-) At least they can show some passion and love for the game.

  • @wolfke1979 What the hell??? Belgium has so much more quality in their team then the USA. If you don't know anything about football you better not speak! Belgium has reached the semi final of the world cup '86 and the finals of the european Championship in '80...many of the teams like Anderlecht,Bruges and Standard have played European cup finals and won...and you say you are Belgian? i'm embarrased in your place...One word for people like you 'idiot'

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY

Mexico made it 2 times to a semi final and why bring Mexico up? this is USA vs Belgium just cause USA sucks so bad at soccer u trying to change the subject ? dont worry the USA will have a good team soon when Hispanics become the majority in the USA like in 20 years maybe less

  • @DarkSamurai305 2 times to a semifinal in what tournament? I hope you're not referring to the World Cup because Mexico hasn't even passed the quarterfinals. Even Poland has made 3rd place in two world cups. But Mexico, close... but no.

  • @DarkSamurai305 actually coming from a mexican american, mexico has never made it to th semifinals they've made it to the quarterfinals in 1970 and 1986 when they hosted it. remember el famoso quinto partido.

  • @DarkSamurai305 Uh no. When the USA tightens it's borders and catches all the aliens, the hispanic population in America will go down.

  • @DarkSamurai305 Yeah that's not right lol smallest estimates are 50 years..

  • wow that uber noob stab-in at 1:15 is truly awful haha. who did that? torres? whoever that is belongs on team kiddie kickers. weak defending at 4:10 as well. what happened to Oguchi Oneywu and Jay DeMerit? damn you eddie pope why'd you have to get old?!

  • THIS WAS A FRIENDLY and the tactics Klinsman employed are perfect for the US. ChILL OUT you uneducted clowns. Torres will soon have Holden, Donovan, Bradley, Jones etc and it will be a whole different team. This is well done by the US, finally taking chances and playing to WIN and not to avoid a loss. Bradley/Torres/Holden all dangerous, tough to decide whom to play, but rotate em. Edu played very well. Torres needs to go to Europe, kid is sick. One problem- PLAY TWO UP TOP.

  • Man usa is going to suck even more with the new coach they got....

they should of kept bob bradley..

  • Poor Edu. So many chances. :/ If Dempsey would have scored, that would have been top class.

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY your pathetic, you have no passion for futball what so ever. its sad to see the usa womens team do WAY much better than the guys. unless u havent noticed mexico is the only team in he concacaf to win an offical FIFA recognized title. 2 world cups U-17 1 confederations cup and 6 times concacaf champions, usa nothing GOODBYE AND ENJOY UR PATHETIC TEAM

  • @jsprincipe under 17 is nothing. we beat you in the gold cup last time and you beat us this time and not even by much. considering that we beat you guys in every sport and even in just life. Plus we were 2nd in the confederation cup considering how "pathetic we are" we are. hat are you even doing on this page? are YOU so pathetic because of your shame that you had to express it on a page not even related to you? go make me some tortillas and geta life (from a mexican)

  • @jsprincipe

Hey there. I think We're a good team. We've beaten spain when it counted and made the final(confed cup). we also made finals at tthe gold cup a couple times, we were the highest in our group this world cup, and could beat brazil back in the late 90s, but these are simply friendlies combining a few star players with 2 or 3 string tryouts. So we're not really that bad of a team. But they never count our goals, like this world cup. There were 2 goals in S. africa that shuldofcounted

  • wow idnt know y u brag just becuz uwon this 2 years us won the 2 years before so itdont matter idiot

  • Haha EDU but it in the "back of the net" again and it was denied !! Dang !! Too bad. USA !!

  • Bring back Michael Bradley. Klinsmann talks about how he wants to pass and hold possession. Well Michael Bradley was probably one of our best players at keeping possession and completing passes in the mid-field D:

  • @kingofpunkd101 I agree, but the only reason why he didn't call up Bradley for the last two friendlies, was because he wanted Bradley to settles his issues with finding a new club before he came to train with the US.. So he was looking out for him. But hopefully he'll get called up this upcoming month :)

  • @kingofpunkd101 Nope. I would rather have Holden, Torres, and Beckerman(holding) in mid-field with a 4-3-3.

  • @HomezezGeezuz That squad epitomized the term DREAM TEAM.

  • I kind of don't blame howard for the goal. The grass looked wet and a slippery ball. Bit yeah bad offside call too. Can't believe lukaku missed that chance.

  • I think that USA should get back Charlie Davis since his doing excellent right now and is young as well.

  • ppl mexico has nothing to do with this...........lol

  • IT WAS A CLOSE GAME

  • USA SUCKS

  • Where's Michael Bradley??

  • @Yellowreeses He hot dropped by his club and wanted to get a new one before playing internationally. He'll be back for Honduras.

  • I hope we win the next game, I'm still confident.

  • I don`t like Klinsmann but he is not a magician: The US-Team is so far behind the top ten soccer (hate that word) nations in the world that he has a lot of work in front of him...

The Team is playing very physical but that`s not enough today...

  • i love watching the US mens national team. Even though there are much better teams out there, i still like to see my country be represented..

  • yes! Belgium yeah yeah ! good game United Stat's! :-)

  • Im sorry will some Plaeas get american announcer, british Putting Me to sleep again. SMH

  • you know alot of people will disagree with me but this is the bitter hard truth, the only reason that the US team is not doing pretty well is that because they have the lack of support some you Americans out there respect this team but alot of you dont for example the concacafgoldcup the main reason they lost was the lack support, seriously i could barely see a i or 2 US supporters throughout the game and what do we do later on? we say that the us team sucks? and that reducesconfidence evenmore

  • @fartexpertable umm the game was in belgium and it was a friendly... seeing that futbol in america isn't exactly the big thing, its not exactly surprising to see 20000 us fans out there...

besides, that's a terrible excuse for this squad, if they suck its because of the collective performance of the team, not the fans who watch it

  • @HomezezGeezuz and you know whats funnier????you guys are still taliking about a event the happend 9 years ago....stop living in past glories

  • @Kingofjune90 oh apparently "we" are living in the past glories all I just said that for the Mexican trolls that piss ALL of us watching this video.

  • Im a mexican american and i root for both teams:) But the thing i hate is when mexico fans hate on the USMNT even though they live here.I root for Mexico everytime they play usa but if usa does win i accept that.

  • @HomezezGeezu stop worrying about what usa has done and focus on what they will do, damn losers havent won a match

  • maurice edu got robbed in the world cup 2010 and in this match bad luck .

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY Yea but we still own you guys, its not about winning the world cup if you know anything about soccer its representing your country the best you could, and i bet USA will never do that again ,

  • Maurice Edu got robbed again.

  • If we can't find the good left back, I say ditch the 4-3-3, and play 3-4-3 or 3-3-4. It's not like we have a player like Dani Alves that attacks consistently. We might not have great Side Back options, but we certainly have plenty of good mid fielders. Let's stick to our strength.

  • @TeamGetter2 oh god no, 3-4-3 demands outstanding individual skills, 3-3-4 is a very unusual formation (at least from a defensive perspective). I personally think they have some decent fullbacks (Spector and Chandler), it is very important nowadays, in a top class football, for a team to play with 4 defending (2 centerbacks and 2 fullbacks), playing with 3 defenders is very difficult now considering the quality wingers the world have produced (C.Ronaldo, Robben, Nani, etc),

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY Actually, by both attendance and TV viewership, MLS has grown the 3rd most popular league in the US in the last few years. And that is not even counting the glory-hunters who support other leagues!

  • our conditioning needs a lot of work also I remember them saying that one of those refs was in the games in which they disallowed goals in the WC go figure. :-/

  • @Grimmjow316 see that's the problem usa had always good conditioning even said so by mexican commentators saying that " the americans never get tired and are always fighting to the end which is why we should never count them out" as said by mexican commentators. So i don't think getting tired is an excuse because usa is one of the most conditioned teams in the world but it might be the players chosen.

  • @greenman1694 well the style they play now is different than before so they aren't used to playing that way. Some of those guys were getting tired in the CR game before so it will take time to adjust to this. Also that and the MLS season going on atm doesn't help either.

  • As of now Mexico has racked up USA.. Give Klinsmann time, I like what he is doing and the direction he is going w/ the USMNT. Mexico has a good team, they have been finding ways to win. The big test for Mexico is in the considerations cup. GO USA !

  • the u.s played belgium not mexico. it's rediculous how every bad u.s. result automatically becomes a political battle.

it's football, is's fun. concacaf is not a strong football confederation aside from mexico winning the confederations cup in 99 and the u.s. almost winning the last one.

the only thing to be compared between the 2 is that they both have relatively new coaches but mexico's already knew the game and most player and the u.s. have a long way to go.

it was wrong to sack bradley.

  • Im a mexican american and i root for both teams:) But the thing i hate is when mexico fans hate on the USMNT even though they live here.I root for Mexico everytime they play usa but if usa does win i accept that.

  • poor guys losing another game

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY As a mexico fan i agree...we care about soccer to much to be just a average team...

  • Second goal stolen away from Maurice Edu for a bad offside call

  • we need a new golkeeper please !!!howard is over.Ihope if we quilified to the world cup we have a good keeper

  • poor Maurice Edu, two goals disallowed against him

  • usa got dominated by an average european team...

  • @pwt10 not really

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY You do know that there's like a thousand teams that can qualify for the world cup. Very few countries actually win the whole thing. Doesn't mean you suck if you don't win it all.

  • I still have hope, never give up US, your win is coming.

  • Klinsman was a in my opinion a very good coach at world cup2006 in germany. I hope that he can the improve the US Soccerteam, too.

    greetings from germany.

  • At least USA beat belgium 3-0 1930's!!!

  • @HomezezGeezuz Well then... If USA is up 2-0, Mexico "definitely SHOULD" have started fouling. But guess what...THEY DIDN'T!!!! They buckled down and took care of business. The USA didn't even know what hit em'. This is THE BEST squad Mexico has ever had and think they can AT LEAST get to the semis in 2014. Look around, the talent is there with more on the way (U-17 and U-20). Bornstein is not all to blame for 4 goals (Blame the last one on Gio...LOL, for absolutely murking Tim Howard).

  • @BlacknWhiteBadger88 IF I were Tim Howars I would have jumped like a complete beast but instead he was shuffling all over the box

  • US can atleast brag that we made a semi-final and quarter-final run on neutral territory.

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY errmm when did u make a semi-final run.. and please dont say 'THE FIRST WORLD CUP CUZ THERE WERE ONLY FOUR TEAMS THEN'.. and i belive you came either last or third......(O_o)

  • @jafarkay there was actually 13 teams and usa got 3rd

  • @jafarkay that wasn't the point of his post, hence the "Soccer is ranked the 6th most favorite sport" at the end.

  • @jafarkay There were 13 teams in the first world cup.

  • you know this group of Belgians finished 4th in the 2008 Beijing olympics.

  • you know what else is funny for your information both federation started in the 1930 and mexico leads All-time series 33wins –15 loses–12 ties (Mexico) mexico has won 33 games agains the usa lost (ONLY) 15 and tie 12 now thats funny!!!!!! and since you love history so much mexico has elimanated usa 4 times in concacaf elimanation now thats funnny too ...... @HomezezGeezuz

  • @HomezezGeezuz do you know whats funny usmnt can't even score more than 2 goals since may 2010

  • I love that shot of Nicolas Lombaerts !!

  • Comment removed

  • the sad part is that the Usa is going to start getting Mexico's left over "talent" lmaooo

    laterss

  • @254184tramo but it's the same team? was it the coach?

  • @HomezezGeezuz some players are the same... but I guess it was the coach because our current coach hasn't lost yet...

  • @254184tramo ok hold up (I don't know why i'm wasting my time with you) I'm assuming you're Mexican and I have seen Mexico lose to El Salvador and Guatemala with an A team does that make you suck? NO! it doesn't.

  • @HomezezGeezuz It depends what year it was in

  • @254184tramo like 2or 3 years ago

  • @MrGeegus what the hell when did Cherundolo do that?

  • @SomdeReggae Well i dont exactly know when, but he did, i think it was the first half

  • @MrGeegus haha do you have proof?

  • @SomdeReggae Look, i dont need to prove anything to you, i know what i saw and if you want proof check the entire game, on a youtube video or whatever, im not gonna look it up for you

  • @MrGeegus than dont bring it up!

  • @HomezezGeezuz lmao yea when was that? 34783246 years ago? LMFAO

  • Ok, to all the US and Mexico hating,

Im a US fan. I respect Mexico as a dangerous team to play against. I love the US. Both teams are good and have great potential. Mexico's youth system is fantastic and the US is well disciplined. Yeah Mexico is known to cheapshot. But both teams are good. If you look at history you'll see both teams have periods of time where they dominate each other, and then it switches. US was for awhile, not its Mexico. So both sides just stop hating and respect both.

  • @SomdeReggae That's the reason Mexico lost so many games, the US players have a lot of discipline and tactical, mexicans players are better individually and more technicals, but if they make a mistake against the US, they pay them hard, but that will be on the past as Sun-Tzu would say, attack an enemy on the same manner for too long and in time they will adapt to your attacking strategy. If i mention the U-20 and U-17 world cups is because they are the future of both teams; mexicans are better

  • @SomdeReggae Argentina had their entire team when they played against Mexico and the game was pretty even, the real result would had been 2-1, what about Paraguay? Mexico beat them 3-1 and the US lost against them, what about Spain, the US lost against them 4-0 and Mexico tied 1-1, i dont respect a team that loses with more than 3 goals. You dont seem to understand the fact, that the US is a defensive team and Mexico an offensive team, they wait for Mexico to make a mistake and counter-attack

  • @MrGeegus lol then you must not respect manchester united, real madrid, barcelona, chelsea, arsenal, liverpool, spains national team (4-0 portugal LAWL) im pretty sure every top flights have lost a fair share of games by more than 3 goals

  • @SomdeReggae Mexican coach didn't took that game seriously, the US did and the best they got was a draw, would you put Sinha on the field when you have Giovanni Dos Santos? would you put Hobbit Bermudez and Arellano when you have Guardado and Pablo Barrera? if Mexico had Chicharito, Barrera and Guardado, the Us would had lost, they are Mexico's offensive power, and Argentina didn't used their starters in that friendly game you tied, everybody knows the ref gave Argentina an unfair goal

  • @SomdeReggae im on what side? could you be a little more coherent there please? i'll tell you what i have been saying everyone, Mexico's youth is better than US youth, Mexico won the U-17 world cup and got 3rd place in U-20 world cup, the US got crushed by Germany 4-0 in the U-17 world cup and they didn't even made it to the U-20 world cup, those players in time will make it to the main team, and guess what? mexican players are better than US players, so no just maybe and not just at the moment

  • @HomezezGeezuz Mexico has better players and better team, the sooner you accept it the better dor you, the US didn't had the game, they received 4 goals and they couldn't score more than 4 goals, also Mexico lost 2 starting defenders and we dont make lame excuses and whine like bitches like you do, the US coul'n't score more than 4 goals, Mexico is better, end of story

  • @MrGeegus I like USA better though. They just need a little more time to mature, and they will be top 10 in the world again. But I love Dos Santos. He's a mini Ronaldinho.

  • @MrGeegus No not really Mexico does not have the dream team like you guys think. USA can still win but in the future I agree Mexico does have a better youth and will be much better!

  • @MrGeegus haha funny no they dont

  • @ThePeep777 haha funny yes they do, Mexico A team 4-2 US A team on US soil, MEXICO CONCACAF CHAMPION IN YOUR FACE HAHAHA

  • Maurice Edu....robbed of another legitimate goal...

  • @HomezezGeezuz You wanna know what else is funny? your face and the fact that a US defender touched the ball with his hand and the ref didn't call for a penalty, MEXICO CONCACAF CHAMPION IN YOUR FACE

  • @MrGeegus how? US has beaten Mexico more this past decade?

watch all the games starting from 2001 till 2011.

  • boring

  • @alexvalmusic Shut up gabacho :)

  • damn. im upset that we lost, but it was an experimental team. oh, and tim howard was beastly

  • damn. im upset that we lost, but it was an experimental team

  • @xWhocaresxX You are not getting my point, those young players will go play in europe and in time make it to the mexican big team; Ulises Davila and Taufic Guarch are gonna play for Chelsea and Espanyol already, it is just a matter of time for Carlos Fierro, Giovani Casillas, Chaton Enriquez, Diego Reyes, Marco Fabian and many others to have experience, Mexico is on the way of becoming a top world team, and the US was 3rd place, when the world cup was easier and had a lot less teams ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePeep777 hahaha cerotes are funny, Mexico 4-2 US on US SOIL HAHAHAHA NOW THAT'S FUNNY

  • Lukaku is beast!

  • Half of Belgium team was injured for this match : Van Buyten (Bayern Munich), Vermaelen (Arsenal), Vertonghen (Ajax Amsterdam), Chadli (Twente), De Bruyne (Genk), Dembele (Fulham), el Ghanassy (Gent), Mirallas ('cause greek league has not begun yet). So I think it was a pretty decent game for Belgium. Belgium is the youngest and talented team in Europe (average age 23) so this defeat is not a shame for US team.

  • @rdjcartel el ghanassy playes with belgians u-21 ;)

  • @TheOneAndOnlyJanssen He has already played for the A team. Referring to Chadli and de Bruyne injuries, Leekens wanted to pick up el Ghanassy but he is injured too.

  • @rdjcartel he DID play with the u-21 against azerbeidzjan..he got a yellow card in the 78th minute and was substituted in the 84' :)

have a look at the website of the kbvb and search for the match report of 07/09/'11..

  • People are stupid, it was a friendly plus donavon and Bradley didn't even play so y say you are better?

  • i like the highlights but dislike the refs

  • 1.05 lol, optical illusion, I also tought it was a goal

  • Keeping a Clean Sheet - check out our tactical reviews on the USMNT v Costa Rica and Belgium

  • Is it me or does USA get the worse refs? It doesn't matter this is a friendly match and jk just needs time to find the chemistry between the players

  • @sgeo250 no its just you... youre just used t having CONCACAF Refs call everything in US' favor.... dont blame the losses on the refs please -.-

  • @DarthMex1991 why not. if you played, I am sure you know they can make or break a game, refs are not perfect I know , so what was the whistle for?

  • @oldska8ter look man its a little immature to say "IT WAS THE REF" rather than saying "Give us time we'll get better after time" its not the refs its the team man

  • Hahahah oh usa... when will u learn? Haven't won a single game since gold cup semifinal

  • To anyone who thinks there was someone involved in the play that was offside, please let me know who and why. No one even close to the ball or the play was offside in any way. I agree that the US did not play well, especially the midfield/D, but that was a goal for sure, there was no offside.

  • @micreorge It's Agudelo. It's hard to see on the replay though cause he jumps ahead of Goodson (who's not offside) but doesn't touch it. However on television they showed an alternate angle which indicates Agudelo starts offside, goes for the ball and interferes with play this way. If you pause at the exact moment the freekick is taken, you can see he's the closest American to the Belgian goal and is clearly offside.

  • @micreorge it's the guy who jumps for the ball @ 3:39, he interferes with play by jumping for it and therefore making it hard for the Belgian to clear it with his head.

  • even as an american, i cant say that we played better than belgium last night BUT that goal was definitely onside. i think that truthfully, we wont really be in great form for a while if the US is serious about recruiting. its a weird transitional phase, not only do we have a new coach but some of our past star players might not be fit enough for the next world cup, so theres a lot of adjustments to make. its going to take time.

  • guys guys guys..

as a Belgian I have to admit that i'm not a fan of our national team.

We DO have some great players, playing at Bayern Munchen, Arsenal, Ajax etc.. your best player (Kljestan) plays in Anderlecht, and he didn't even start in yesterday's game..I expected much more from the USA..

I also saw some reactions on this video here. Just face it that Mexico has a much better team than you guys..they have much more talent than you have

  • @TheOneAndOnlyJanssen thank you man, I'm belgian too but you made me laugh so hard with the "your best player (Kljestan)" part.

  • Love it how the americans can't cope with loss and deal with the fact that Belgium is better.

the goal was offside as one of the americans in offside actively participated in the game.

  • @Insjallah The ball never touched any of the three people offside. It bounced off the grass and Edu headed it in. Edu wasn't anywhere near being offside!

  • @Headcheezonium The ball doesn't need to touch them. They actively participated in the game while being offside.

  • if it weren't for Howard, USA soccer was be 10 times worse than it has been since he took over the position of GK. the man is a genius back there and has saved USMNT's A** on more than a thousand occasions. haha

  • @408ec Hahaha Spanish, English, and Arabic are all good in my opinion lol

  • AXEL WITSEL AMAZING PLAYER SL BENFICA !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can see US being good team soon! the guy just started give him a chance to grow! :)

  • btw unfortunatley USA's best striker is their coach.

  • @IMxYOURxDADDY haha

  • Belgium is far from efficient -_- out of many chances 1 goal, what a joke. Same story against azerbaijan :(

  • Looks to me like the defense was the weakest spot. Tim Howard had to do a lot of saves in what were quite dangerous situations; it's actually surprising Belgium didn't score higher.

  • I was there.

  • god bless mexico and belgium !!!!!! lol

  • result of friendlies doesnt always matter unless you carry some sentimental value against certain opponents but the performance absolutely matters, losing but playing fantastically in friendlies is better than winning while playing terrible

  • the disallowed goal was ridiculous. but this is a friendly. so it doesn't really matter. not to mention we just got a new manager. it'll take time to adjust to his style. that being said, i understand it was a slick surface, but i think Timmy should've saved the goal. i spent my entire career in net (some of which, in college) and when a shot dips right before it reaches you, it's difficult. but he could've done better. not to take away from him, though. he's still one of the best in the world.

  • That's how you play with a hangover.

  • I'm tired of people saying it's only a friendly. I'll quote Herm Edwards...

"You play to win the game!"

I don't want to hear about trying new players or formations. You play to WIN!

  • @Redman9250 But winning a friendly doesn't mean anything. Friendlies allow managers to test out different players and formations to find the best setup for tournaments, when the matches actually count for something.

  • God USA back line and midfield are horrible hahaha

  • Brek Shea the next USA super star!!!

  • @SomdeReggae but u never won a world cup so u have nothing to say. and the mexico programe is doing alot better let me tell u y. Mexico Beat the US Twice in the gold cup in 2009 & 2011 plus they were undefeted in the 2011 Gold Meaning Mexico is the UnderDog in the region. the U-17 won two World Cups, and the U-20 made it in Third Place in the 2011 World Cup in Colombia ..not even the USA team made it in that Tournament ..meaning your Future US Soccer team is not looking good.
