Someone forgot to do their research. The Dodge Caliber SRT4 has 285 HP. As for the Caliber's potential? It uses the same platform and a larger version of the same engine as used on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. These guys are from LA and retarded. I would listen to advice from from a talking demented cow before these two. How did they get their jobs?

I still dont know why all the reviewers like motortrend, car and driver, automobile, and all the other ones like the gti so much. Personally I think it's ass ugly and so is the inside. The design of the seats reminds me of golfers pants which are ugly also. Id take the srt4 over all of these. I forgot these were guys I thought they were girls. Oh I dont wanna touch these hard plastic materials ooo gross. You can have your ugly ass gti and Ill take my srt4 and blow your doors off for less.

The dodge has angular shapes on the dash because it matches the exterior, noobs. If you like the hard edge exterior, chances are you will like that look on the inside. Very biased toward mainstream segment hatches. Its called playing it safe. That mazda is ass ugly and devoid of character styling wise. So we would drive a boring/ugly import because the inside makes me feel like I'm driving a BMW.

I've never been a fan of Dodge, but GM's interiors look good to me. Look at Malibu, Tahoe/GMC, Camaro, G8,G6, All the Buicks... Sorry if the plastic doesn't feel like velvet.

haha look at the motortrend hot hatch comparison. it may have the most power of all the others, but around willow springs raceway, it did the worst time. how bad is that chassis when you have 80 horsepower more than the gti, but you finish 5 seconds after it?

the only reason you would buy that dodge is if you only cared about power.

Fit and finish is one thing, but who goes around rubbing their nads over dash plastic!!! It's plastic! Because its not as soft your not gonna buy a particular vehicle? that's retarded. We are so far up europe's ass it's not even funny.

I love my CSRT-4 and it is one of the most comfortable cars I have been in, with those viper seates. By the way American is the way to go. Lets send more money to other countries.

The handling is great in my opinion. I have added even more HP and I am waiting the Mopar Stage 1 to arrive which will add up to 30 more HP. I guess it is all about one's opinions. My CSRT4 is awesome!!!

im not to sure what these guys are thinking based soley on intierior the csrt is has the best seats and has the most standard features boost gauge they didnt even metion the refrigerated glove box nor did they say anything about standard 19" wheel but for me these guys lost all credibility when they started talking about power on the speed3 so far i have demolished every car on this reveiw in my csrt (execpt the c30 you dont see to many of those on the track) and trust me i test drove evey one

Know why they said all that stuff about the SRT4? Because it's really that much of a POS compared to all the others. Plain and simple. It's ugly and cheaply made. Thanks for watching & commenting. RE: the Caliber - At the beginning of this video the guys explain their approach. They're comparing how these cars feel to just sit in. Obviously, the Caliber's huge power will matter more in the upcoming driving comparison.

Yes, they got sidetracked on power in the Mazda, but then acknowledge power isn't everything, & this video is about interior feel and fit/finish.

In the end, we want people to be passionate about their car, So thanks for that!

Todd from Everyday Driver here. Our web guy thought I should comment on this thread. You're right man, we give an unfair impression of the Caliber's power. Truly my fault cause I misspoke in the Mazda. In the raw footage we are discussing how much more power the Speed3 gives the same chassis as the Volvo and Euro Ford focus. Course... you can't tell that in the edited piece and that's uncool.

So. You're right, I'm wrong here. Look forward to showing you guys our driving review.

Sorry for calling you idiots and i appreciate the response! Look up here in Canada the Caliber srt4 is 7000$ cheaper then the ms3! Not to mention with kids and a golf player and snow boarder it is much more practical! Ijust yhaught that it was worth saying! I tried all the other models And yes the srt is the worst interior but it is still not bad and the seats are very comfy and an interior dosent justify spending 7 to 15 thousand more! Not to me anyway.I think youll be impressed on the road!

im buying csrt 4 08 and i agree it is a great car but the interior plastic is a little crappy but the seats the shifter and a lot of the accessories are great they just arent commmenting fairly

they are either biased towards the mazda or just ignorant about the caliber srt-4. Everything negative they had to say about the mazda they would say, "oh but look at how much power it has! it makes up for it!" Maybe the dodge interior is a little "cheap" compared to the others, but it has 285hp! more than any of the other ones. they sat in the dodge hating it before even giving it a chance. No i dont own a caliber but they were just hating on it. It has plenty of room and power, and great seats
