For me, the barrier between good Nickelodeon and Today's Nickelodeon started with Amanda Bynes. In my opinion, she WAS the downfall of Nickelodeon.

And Angry Beavers and Hey Arnold were the two last great ones. Rocket Power and CatDog were the beginning of the new age of Nickelodeon.

Nick was so awesome back then and the shows that they have now are just low-brow pieces of shit that are no excuses for cartoons. Cartoon Network, Nick and Disney now suck balls. I remember watching these shows back when I was a teenager. I used to wake up at 6 to catch my favorite shows back in the late 80's. I wish there would be a channel devoted to classic shows such as these. Praise Amazon for making boxsets of those shows but other than that, I don't watch those shows anymore.

Problem with Nick shows nowadays is that all the cartoon ones seem to focus on a main character who is an idiot, and/or random jokes, and all the live action shows are all "Omg! I'm a teenager in high school! Drama! Boyfriends! Blah blah blah!" and aren't funny.

Not to mention there are NO gameshows or minishows like U Pick Live or SlimeTime anymore!

I couldn't agree more. They should do like [adult swim] and have a small block reserved solely for classics, either before Nick Jr., like they did before with Rocky & Bullwinkle once, or [as] Ntoons (Nicktoons channel) with it's own slot somewhere.

And I agree, we saw thew best of the best. We had hidden jokes. There are too many to call. Nickelodeon nowadays is scary. It's lamer than a horse with all it's legs full of compound fractures.
