  • Such a weird band. But I really really love them.

  • Deep down inside, all of us are the Urban Spaceman, eager to explore.

  • natural exuberance spillin '

  • He manages to sound more "Lennon and McCartney" than the Beatles ever did!

  • At 2:21, Legs Larry looks like Peter Green!

  • "Quiet talks and summer walks". Tremendously wonderful in every aspect, finely written melancholia, very mellow in its own way. Splendid underrated stuff really.

  • thier style of musical comedy transcends generations and appealed to me from a very young age, thanks for the videos these must be rare not even on their dvd documentary release, absolute genius, favourite album is keynsham because of how strange it is, their most underrated album

  • Quiet Talks and Summer Walks is such a beautiful song. Neil Innes is a genius.

  • Is the first time I listen to Quiet Talks and Summer Walks, and I really think it is better than some Beatle or Zepp stuff at that time...wonderful :)

  • The Bonzos were wonderful.

  • These clips are rough, ragged...invaluable & indispensable for those(like me)who have been fans of the Bonzos recorded output for some 40 yrs., but missed or never had the chance to see them live. Bravo & a big Huzzah! to whoever posted these...

  • Rahsssan Roland Kirk used to play the recorder with his nose, too.

  • why do people not play the hose pipe anymore? Viv...a truly great performer, a recorder never sounded sweeter. Those machines a truly genius. I imagine there were a few blown minds in the audience that night, and that was before they dropped the strong German acid!

  • Utterly brilliant!! they never took themselves seriously, but mightily talented!!! very underated!! in their day. Who can you compare them with these days?

Simply superb stuff for the "thinking" mind. ;)

  • between 0:55 and 1:00

Vivian Stanshall play the flute with is nose. Nasty but asom realy asom

  • Roger Ruskin Spear and the Electric Wardrobe are to be thanked for the lovely robots. RIP Viv Stanshall, you will be loved as long as I live.

  • neil is damn hot

  • @videosboludos Pppfft So is Roger!!

  • the lyrics are indeed from Dog Breath (In The Year of the Plague)

  • He's actualy singing lines from Dog Breath

  • innes starred in a kids show in the eighties and this was the theme song. i think.

  • Funny how Neil keep singign lines from the Mothers' "Cruising For Burgers"

And what brand of amps are they using? I can't make out the name.

  • I think it's "Dog Breath," actually.

    Not the amp, the lyrics.

  • Though incidently the amps are called Electric Aunt Jemima

  • They're Davoli amps & speakers - popular in the UK around that time....

  • Wow! Summer Walks And Quiet Talks is one of my fave Bonzo songs ever - never knew there was any live footage of this. Thanks!

  • Wonderful!! Thank U. "Long live Bubbles"!!

  • Brilliant Bonzos! Love the bit at 3:20 when Viv loses his microphone. Thanks for posting this gem!

  • xD That part cracks me up!
