"Quiet talks and summer walks". Tremendously wonderful in every aspect, finely written melancholia, very mellow in its own way. Splendid underrated stuff really.
thier style of musical comedy transcends generations and appealed to me from a very young age, thanks for the videos these must be rare not even on their dvd documentary release, absolute genius, favourite album is keynsham because of how strange it is, their most underrated album
Is the first time I listen to Quiet Talks and Summer Walks, and I really think it is better than some Beatle or Zepp stuff at that time...wonderful :)
These clips are rough, ragged...invaluable & indispensable for those(like me)who have been fans of the Bonzos recorded output for some 40 yrs., but missed or never had the chance to see them live. Bravo & a big Huzzah! to whoever posted these...
why do people not play the hose pipe anymore? Viv...a truly great performer, a recorder never sounded sweeter. Those machines a truly genius. I imagine there were a few blown minds in the audience that night, and that was before they dropped the strong German acid!
Utterly brilliant!! they never took themselves seriously, but mightily talented!!! very underated!! in their day. Who can you compare them with these days?
Such a weird band. But I really really love them.

Funny how Neil keep singign lines from the Mothers' "Cruising For Burgers"
And what brand of amps are they using? I can't make out the name.

I think it's "Dog Breath," actually.
Not the amp, the lyrics.
