Part of the challenge of this game is figuring out how to defeat an enemy all by yourself. - In the "rare" case that I can't figure it out - that's to the internet there's tons of walkthroughs available. - I remember the days before the internet.......

Well - I'm old school I guess. - I never liked cheat codes or anything as a "first line of defence" - Cheat Codes is the last resort. - Advice or use of someone's walkthrough is just before the last resort.

Man, I HATE cheat codes, they just make the game way too easy, I like challenging games (thats way I came to Ninja Gaiden, and played first on normal, and got my ass kicked a lot of times by the first ninjas until I got to know the controls well and dominated the game :D)

Oh - maybe that's why i don't find NG II as hard as some say it is. - The Bosses on the original were a little harder to hit. - A lot of them had good defensive tactics. - And some of them you really had to stand by and wait for them to attack so that you could counter attack.

I found NG bosses hard because I played through all DMCs, in those games the game was most focused into rolls and dodging, and there was no blocking, but NG has a more focused into blocking and counter attacking than dodging...

What gives you an advantage in NG II is your regenerating health meter. - I the original - it didn't regenerate unless you used your health potion or tailisman or rebirth.

Life of 1000 Gods only expanded the meter, but didn't fill it up. - And your save points didn't fill you up either.

In the first NG (not NG Black/Sigma) - the sword that you get from one of your enemy Bosses drained your energy if you used it. - You could offset it by getting a braclet, but you had to find enough (skulls)

I have PS2 as well, but The original NG is playable on XBox 360. - The only negitive it that when you collect all the golden Scarabs (like the Crystal Skulls) - It's supposed to unlock the NES versions of Ninja Gaiden - But it won't unlock on 360 - Only on the original XBOX. -

but that feature works find on NG Black - only difference is that the unlockable is the Arcade Version of NG and not the NES versions. - Arcade Version is crap IMO.

there's no luck involved. - you just dip in the water and once you start shooting the gun they won't touch you - just don't stop shooting.

Yeah - that ninpo is wierd - You have to aim it - it doesn't aim automatically like the fire. - And it doen't seem as powerful against other enemies - Just those Taradactal things so far.

You know - I heard complaints about the returning Bosses, but they kinda make sense - You never get to finish Genshin so of course you'll face him again. - The Rock Monster and Amadillo are just giant spawns - So it's possible it's not the exact same creature - just another spawn.

But I also hear I'll face the lighting guy and Volf again - They can't be spawns and they looked dead before. - How is it that they are still alive?

Don't tell me you found the first Boss hard too. - The big Spider Ninja. - All I did was kept enough distance and Charged my UT and unleased - I did that twice and he was just about done.

Finally got another copy of the game - Volf was simple to beat. - I did have to take 3 tries to finish the Lycans that come out of the crowds. - I kept getting hit by body parts. - I finally fought them with my Dragon Sword instead of Volf's Weapon. - Piece of Cake.

I'm on 7 now and those bio-bots are creepy. - But Volf's Weapon is a beast!

Tried is once so far and they bust me up. And yeah - the rocket launcher guys was a piece of cake. - I don't know what those guys were complaining about. - I just dogded my way towards them while occassionally hitting them with stars to keep the off balance until I get close enough to rip them apart with the Eclipse Scythe - It was an obvious technique.

The Armadillo was officially the first hard Boss. - The Water Dragon was kinda hard becasue I hate water levels.

Some kind of way I was able to use the Eclipse Scythe on his hind leg and all he could do was walk in a circle while I hit him. - No bouncing around or nothing.

Then I had to use that flying hit with my dragon sword when he turned red. - I didn't know I had to block when he exploded. - I would have beat him in 5 tries if I knew that. - Instead it took maybe 15 or more, lol.

You failed to see the easy way of defeating the motherfucker XD

When I faced him, I figured out that I shouldnt attack the legs directly, so I started swinging arrows at his face, had some effect, but I soon ran out of arrows...

After that got the fucker with a incendary shuriken in the face, not only it got %10 of his health down, it stunned him and let me unleash a bad-ass combo with the scythe...

Used like 4 incendiary shurikens, then obliterated the fuck out of it! >:D

Yeah, but my way wasn't hard at all - it was very easy - like i said - All he could do was walk circles around me while I lash at his leg. - I didn't find the arrows easy at all - tried that first. - But I did read about incendary shurikens in someone's walkthrough, but I was scared to get in front of him because last time I got in his face he chewed me up.

But regardless of which technique I used - I still find him harder than any Boss up to this point.

Well... Aside from the first spider boss, it was the easiest boss fight for me...

Anyway, youll NEED to use the incendiary shuriken to defeat the 2 Armadillos, it ALWAYS happened that when I tried to fuck one up or do some substantial scythe damage with the aerial combo, the other Armadillo would just come out of nowhere and bounce right in my face D:<

I'll try the incediary shurikens if nothing else works, but I think this guy here finished them without the shurikens.

And the water dragon wasnt that hard neither, I kicked his ass in 1 try... (GO LVL3 FALCON TALONS :D)

My problem with the water Dragon was - WATER. - I'm never good on water levels - on any game.

No, theres not another water level, I dont think they wanted to fuck up the game THAT much XD But there are just a few parts where you need to kick some ass in water, for that my only way out was the Eclipse scythe.

Oh, and the fishes will be back in the last level, right before you face Genshin for the last time... Youll have to make a quick run through or theyll grab you and kick your ass...

Oh no. - The Fishes are a piece of cake - I think they are easier in this game then they were in the original. - I just but them up with my Tonfas (or any weapon for that matter) - But this part has those Blue Monsters that look like Aliens (from the movie Aliens) - they fight you on land, but will also dive and swim at you.

The fish to me are almost as easy as the Bats - just swing until they're all gone. - If one gets a hold of you just shake him of and continue swinging.

Well... The fishes for me are like the 2 Armadillos, you figure how to beat em, or they rape you... Without lube...

And those alien monsters are a piece of cake when in land, just spam the Y combo with the Kusari-Gama or some Dragon Sword Izuna drops and theyll be gone in secs... When in water, I didnt know how to beat them so I just used level 3 wind ninpo and YY with Eclipse scythe until they were all gone :D

Oh and Dagra Dai is not the final boss, after him you got the archfiend which is officially the easiest boss on a videogame ever and then you got the REAL archfiend which has an unblockable/undodgable grab (the only way to dodge it is abuse of invincibility frames from ninpo) which takes literally half of your life away... Nuff said...

Are we talking about the same fish? - The Ghost Fish. - you just swing, repeating X or Y (only one hit per fish even if you do a kick) - Only way they rape you is if you stand there and do nothing. - They do dig into you sometimes, but you just shake them off and start swinging again. - Then when they're all done they leave you blue orbs(sometimes)

The ghost fish are the most easy thing ever, spammed YYYY with Falcon Talons and destroyed them without letting them even touch me :D

Oh - I see why you said that. But I didn't say I had problems with guys with magic or projectiles - I just find that it takes a little more skill to beat those types. - The first Alexei wasn't that hard. - Only Boss I had to face more than 2 times was the water dragon so far.

Unlike the Original game - the Bosses on this game are easier to hit. - they don't defend well in NGII if you ask me. Not too many block/dodge, then counter in this one which was the norm for me in the original.

You don't find these Bosses a little easier to hit then the Original's Bosses. - I used to always have to fight them 10+ times to figure out their moves, then decide which weapon is best - When to counter attack, when to dodge, when to block, etc. -

In NG II - I just attack - So far up to Volf - that's all I did was attack. - The Water Dragon gave me a little trouble, but everyone else was easy. - The Spider Clan Boss to me was the only one who defended well.

The fight with that son of a bitch is just about luck, if you arent lucky, the guy will just go up, summon fiends, summon rays that come from the ground and summon fiends again...

There were even some times that he just wont come to the ground, he just keeped spamming those moves until I died! D:<

What i did too kill the Boss on the end of chapter 5 is stay on the platform you start on and keep fireing arrows (full-power at his head) he will only use 2 weak ataacks to get you off.
