  • if im doing this routine daily how long before i see results?

  • @TopChef831 Depends almost entirely on how good (or bad) your diet is.

  • @TopChef831 Depends almost entirely on how good (or bad) your diet is.

  • @modeathletics what if you are eating right? how long will it take to see results

  • this looks promising thankyou

  • hard to find videos like this. exactly what i was looking for. thank you

  • @yankeefan21142 My pleasure. Thank you for the positive feedback.

  • haven't worked out in a while this really got the blood flowing, do you recommend doing this circuit everyday?

  • @illusivewolfoni Yes, you can do this circuit every day, but I have lots of 10-minute home workout videos on YouTube that don't require any equipment, so I suggest you do one 10-minute workout per day, but mix it up so that you're not doing the same workout each day.

  • Press 1 to skip to 30 seconds before start of workout

  • My thighs are sore from yesterdays workout which was my first time, do I continue the workout today? Even though I'm sore from yesterday?

  • @JakeBurnsRedx16 No, don't workout today if your thighs are still sore from yesterdays workout. If your muscles are still sore from a previous workout, you should take a day off between workouts. If you're still sore by the second day, it's ok to workout as long as you take it easy and don't go too hard. Light exercise will increase blood flow to your muscles which should help alleviate some of the soreness.

  • do we do this everyday? because i read somewhere that our body needs to rest for 1-2days before we can exercise again so that our body can repair our muscles or something like that...

  • @zsilentx96 Yes, this workout can be done every day as long as you take a rest day here and there. What you read about around muscles needing 48 hours of rest after a workout is true, but that rest time only necessary if you do a very intense meathead workout that focusses on specific body parts. For total-body circuit training routines where you aren't doing a lot of volume for any particular muscle group, it's perfectly fine to workout every day as long as you take a rest day here and there.

  • @modeathletics oh ic, Thanks for the help.

  • Starting this FIRST thing tomorrow! Gotta drop a few pounds and I really don't want to pay for a gym membership! Can't wait. I'll check back in a week with my progress :)

  • i tried it makes you sweat bad its great

  • relaxing cat!

  • aww the cat is so cute haha...the way it was laying seems as if he/she wanted you to rub her belly

  • I just started doing this today and I must say I was sweating which means it actually works :) so thank you for sharing this workout and I will keep doing this everyday. Once again thank you so much!

  • @hecnkim My pleasure. Thanks for the positive feedback. :-) Good luck with your workouts.

  • I started out with this ^^ 3 months ago i was 200lbs and now.. 147lbs :P but i think this is great exercise for strength improvement but this isn't permanent... it could be though ^^ Good exercise to enter the world of fitness! You are great! (still going though :P ain't no stopping now when i just got started)

  • @hoogerson Wow, that's great. Congratulations on those fantastic results. Thanks for posting that. Good luck and continued success with your workouts.

  • @hoogerson holy shit nice results bro. im gonna start doing this now.

  • is the cat dead?

  • ommgg look at the catt xD

  • I wish I was motivated to work out like that.. Instead my motivation is kinda on the level of your cat lls.

  • @973junkieb lloool i love this qoute

  • I love how the cat is just laying there like uhhhh thats to much work

  • this is great, really got me going :) thanks

  • The Cat is like:DANCE FOR ME HUMAN!:)))=)))

  • dang dude that helped me out i waz sweating alot lol thankz

  • hahaha your cat looks funny in the video

  • i thought you were only supposed to work certain parts of body at a time? so if you do legs and then right after push ups it doesn't work so well? or is that just for muscle building rather than fat burning?

  • @PokerVT1 Working out only certain muscle groups each workout is called a split workout routine, and yes, it's mainly used by bodybuilders and people wanting to build muscle. For fat-burning, total-body workouts are far more effective than split routines.

  • @modeathletics

    ok thanks :)

  • You have something fatter people can do but more intense?

  • @ProGamer611 p90x or insanity

  • I prefer the view your cat has on fitness.

  • It is kind of funny watching you working out with a fat lazy cat lounging in the background

  • thumbs up for tha cat :D

  • i like how the cats flashing us the entire video

  • lol That Cat Is Fucken Lazy And Fat Jajaja

  • Dude i believe running is really good cardio, combined with drinks like wine and such in a small amount per day and i can have a conductor of energy, that is why i think running is good , especially incline running in the mountains, lucky me i have a square around my house 1.2 km with incline and i just running both uphill and downhill, and my legs burn and the abs train too..

  • did anyone notice the retarded cat?

  • lmfaoo the cat got bored xD

  • im 17 and starting out with the basics to get back in shape for football season ! How long will it take to get results? And what should my schedule be for this workout plan ?

  • Your cat.. he needs to take some pointers. I'm going to recommend this to my boyfriend, though! He's looking for a good way to lose weight and gain muscle- but he doesn't have a ton of time during the day. This looks awesome. Thanks!

  • can anyone help me clarify some points?

1 so the more tired you feel after each workout then the more results whether it is 10 or 40 minutes?

2 does doing a workout do more or doing something like going for a run?

  • @yurtzenika 1. If you're asking whether intensity trumps duration, the answer is absolutely yes. Working out harder for less time is more effective than working out longer at a lower intensity. 2. Running is fairly useless towards burning calories and making you fitter. If you like running, then run. But if you just want to have effective workouts that keep you lean and in great shape, running is unimportant towards your goals.

  • The cat is Cracking me up! :9)

  • haha your cat is cute ^^

  • Hey guys, Okay I want to lose some fat around my lower abs and thighs. (I'm a guy) I'm really not that overweight at all, I'm 15 I weigh 185 at 5'11 and I squat 315 and bench 155. I have muscle but I have this fat still around my lower abs and thighs and no matter what I do I can't get rid of it. I can easily do 200 crunches and 50 push ups non stop. I have somewhat of a healthy diet. My medicine I take makes me eat once a day. I know that's not good. Any tips and help will be great. Thanks!

  • @sbaeagles15 run :) I think it should helps :D

  • How much weight will u lose if u do this work out everyday ?

  • @bodygued Weight loss depends largely on diet.

  • @modeathletics So...what is a healthy diet like ?

  • @bodygued That question is too broad for me to be able to effectively answer in 500 characters in a YouTube comment. The best diet book I've read is the 5-Factor Diet by Harley Pasternak. It only costs $10 on Amazon, so I highly recommend you pick up that book if you're interested in learning how to setup a healthy diet for yourself that's geared towards losing fat.

  • Is the cat drunk?!?!? hahaha

  • I don't want to sound harsh but the reality is everybody seems to be more interested in the cat which tells it's own story

  • This is a piece of nonsense. The workout is meant to be a fat burner but no one overweight could sustain any of these exercises for 30 seconds. I mean come on most if not all people overweight could not do 6-10 pushups never mind trying it for a minute. To really help overweight people need to build there self up over a period of time & that's the reality. This vid looks good but should maybe drop the time by 30 secs & if the user finds this ok they can do a couple of sets.

  • love how the cat is just chillin'

  • side lunges can put stress through knees should check out a stance called zenkutsu dachi in karate its kind the same but it keeps the knee in a safer placing for loading just make sure to step forward not back then walk it back be for doing other side

  • Awesome =] ..just what i've been looking for.

  • Lazy azz cat

  • Lol look at the cat

  • the cat <3

  • i can barely do 10 push ups...do u think doing dips could replace me doing push ups? or wAt else can i do besides pushups....but if i have to do push ups wat is the easiest way i can improve nad accomplish them?

  • @axel5ish Dips are way harder than pushups. If you struggle to do pushups, you'll really struggle with dips. With that said, if you work on dips, the chest and triceps strength you develop will carry over to pushups and make you better at pushups. Regarding how to do more pushups, I have a video on YouTube addressing that question. The video is titled "How To Do More Pushups".

  • @modeathletics Try to start on your knees. The aim is quality not quantity at first. Try to take 3 seconds on your way down, chest slightly touching the floor, then 3 seconds on your way up. Every time it feels easy to do one rep, add another one. Then within the next two weeks you can do at least 3 reps of full body weight push ups. Any questions check my channel. Good luck.

  • @axel5ish you could lean against a wall and do pushups...thats what i do cuzz i cant even do a girl pushup, and Im a girl!!

  • 0:59 looks like hes giving someone a lapdance or somthing:P

  • which one was abs?

  • @THEBIGCAGEY wtf?

  • watching that cat made me lazy

  • people watching him do the squats from outside his window would be like o.O

  • the cat... LOL!!!

  • great vid, as all of your vids are. awesome info, and uthat cat always makes me laugh

  • does this burn belly fat to ?

because im gonna be doing this 3-4 times a day and im trying to burn fat to make weight for the high/wieght requirments for the Army. I need to lose 20 pounds.

  • I need tips... I'm 14, fat (235lbs.) and im sick and tired of being bullied. I've been searching for a while now and i cant seem to figure out whats best for me? Can someone please reply with a workout that i can do? thanks

  • @SuperProProductions HAVE YOU GOTTA PROGRAM YET!

  • @saagar66 woah i just did yesterday

  • @SuperProProductions buy a gun

  • hmmm do the workout or be like the cat.... hmmm....

  • What kind of warm-up we need to do before this workout?

  • What is that device on the arm and what feature you guys advice to look for when we buy it?

    Thanks

  • @haa82 It's called a Gymboss Interval Timer. Buy it from Gymboss [dot] com.

  • I Have thin arms, thin waist...which mean a thin upper ...but I have a fat butt and thick and short thighs ... I'm only 18 what Can I do?? I'm going crazy... :((((((

  • i luv how lazy the cat is while he's working out

  • lol i like the cat:)

  • r u suppose to do the mtn climbers dat slow?

  • @JonnelMartinez93 prolly not but i bet his shoulders an legs are burning

  • Thank you, already started to do this :-) I've very hard doing the push ups and the one with legs where you go up and down, but I try to push my self as hard as i can so i do 12 x 3 push ups, 12 x 3 up and downs, 12 x 3 with legs up and down, while hanging in a push up thing, and 20 x 3 of the ones you move to sites :-)

  • Question, how good is this workout? I ask because I can do some of the exercises, but some I cannot do for the full 30 seconds. I am trying to lose at least one pant size by christmas. I'm 24 at 210 lbs with a 37.5 inch waist. I would run and jog, but it is freezing outside. I have access to weights, resistance bands, and an ab wheel.

  • This video doesnt help when thers a lazy cat in it.

  • "make sure you breath" thanks for the pointer captain obvious

  • @TheDarthSpark Mountain Climbers

  • the cat is a good example ^^ :P

  • @kookooacho try to do 20 sit-up every 5hours daily try it on 1 week after it u can do a push up =) Sub Please Thanks

  • How does one train up to do a push-up? I can't do a pushup, so how long will it take me to do one and what do I have to do?

  • @kookooacho The easiest way to do pushups is with your hands on the wall. If you can do at least 15 "wall pushups", then the next progression would be to find something about waist height to put your hands on for pushups. If you can do 15 pushups from that angle, then find something about knee height to put your hands on for pushups. Perhaps a coffee table. To summarize, the more upright your body, the easier the pushup. The more horizontal your body, the harder the pushup. Progress accordingly.

  • @kookooacho first you will need to get lower body weight , while getting lighter also train your chest and start lifting waits for your strainght (pull ups are better than weights but if you cant do one pushup i guess you are very far from a pull up) when you can do one push up , do it as much times a day you can , push your'self to 2 , then 3 , 5 , 10 , at first i couldnt do 5 , now i do like 55 with this i just told you , good luck !!

  • @kookooacho try doing push ups with your knees on the ground much easier

  • @kookooacho u cant be serious?

  • @iGoTUrBaByMaMa

lmfaaaao, are you seriously replying to almost every question ??

  • @iGoTUrBaByMaMa i got carried away

  • how much weight would you lose if you were to do this exercise for 10 minutes? (answer in kg please) thankyou

  • your cat is so lax. wish i could be that chilled in life.

  • love the vid but please tell your cat to say no to drugs.

  • Lmao dude if you wanna lose pounds quicker avoid eating bread and eat more brown rice

  • cute dog

  • Awesome videos. I've applied to join the Army, i'm a bit on the skinny side and i need to gain some endurance + stamina and also put on some muscle in my arms, legs and torso. I have a fast metabolism so it's hard for me to put on weight. I don't have any home gym equipment either. Any chance of getting some advice from my problems listed above?

    Thanks.

  • @MortalWombat01 Gaining muscle requires progressively challenging your muscles with greater levels of resistance, so when exercising without equipment, you must come up with more challenging variations of bodyweight exercises as your body adapts to the more basic bodyweight exercises. For chest, triceps, and shoulders, do pushups (check out y video with 19 variations). For back and biceps, do pullups. For legs, do plyometric jumping exercises and try to build up the strength to do pistol squats.

  • @modeathletics

    This is great information!

Thank you greatly for your help.

  • @MortalWombat01 if you want to gain weight you need to be buying 'Met Rx' protein drink, follow the instructions on the tub. For building muscle you need to be doing pyramid training, for example rep of 10 with 10kg then rep of 8 with 15kg then rep of 6 with 20kg, do you see where im coming from? you just alter the weight depending on what excersise you are doing. i used this routine and put a stone of muscle on in a month. Happy training

  • @MortalWombat01 eat more meals a day avoid (ice cream and stuff like that) just eat lots of vegetables potatoes corn starch and bread

  • @sabreface10

    Thanks mate.

  • @MortalWombat01 If you're looking for more resistance from your pushups you can try putting on a packpack filled with books, as many as you can handle, it can add quite a bit of weight.

Or you can do a handstand, use the wall to balance yourself, and do pushups while in the handstand, uses the full force of your body as a resistance.

  • @xxToxic69 Very helpful tips. For people interested in this topic, if you have resistance bands, another great way to make pushups harder is to perform what's called a "resisted pushup". Check out my YouTube video titled "Killer Chest & Core Exercise: Resistance Band Pushup" for an example of the resisted pushup.

  • @MortalWombat01 dude trust me they will definately get you in shape in basic training. normally skinny guys gain about 15 pounds of muscle through training while chubby guys lose about 15. i actually lost around 35 pounds. skinny dudes typically run better, while big boys like me had bettr luck on muscular excersizes like the pushups and situps. but everyone sucks even the guys in great shape have a hard time in basic its very strenuos

  • look at that cat

  • 2.33 your cat watches and has a go at a leg up! but thinks f@@k it!

  • if im doing weights like working out will this overwork my body?

  • @123qm321 Yes, if you do this type of bodyweight circuit in addition to working out with weights, you will likely be overtraining (depending on how much exercise you're already doing with weights). If you're already working out with weights, and want to add some additional exercise to your routine, I suggest you add some high-intensity interval training done on the stationary bike, the rowing machine, or hill sprints if you have access to a hill.

  • The cat has the right idea....

  • looking for some advice here. im male, 23, 5"9, 184 lbs. sick and tire of having too much fat. looking to lose 20-30 lbs. wanna be down to about 160 lbs. i know the classic advice is to eat better and exercise but i'm looking for more specific. is the answer to my problem this workout?

  • @JeffWiens7 Yes, this workout will help you lose weight. So will most of the workout videos on YouTube (i.e. my videos, or most videos from other trainers and fitness experts). Working out for results is pretty straight-forward. If you're exercising intensely at least three days per week and not seeing fat-loss results, the problem is with your diet.

  • I'm on week two and I say I lost about 4-7 pounds I'm only 17 do this it's great

  • @riasa70 Way to go!

  • @modeathletics thank u

  • your dog is chilling :)

  • i did this workout yesterday n i am soo sore! great work out, its a lot harder than it looks.

  • Hey' im 16 going on 17 and am planning on joining the army. i am what people consider to be ''chubby'', i had a heart operation when i was yougner which makes me lose my breath A LOT faster. any ideas what i can do to lose love handles and belly .

  • does this exercise help build abs or just burn fat but i like the routine and the cat

  • @lonnfeta wide grip chinups and various other chinups are very effective ways of building great deltoids and a muslcey back.

  • Thats crazy, I do cardio for 4 hours with no brakes, usealluy on treadmill, or on bike machine, I get so tired, I cant even walk

  • I just did dis workout it's amazing ppl try this I'm sweating my ass off cuz this Is great must try....

  • How many calories does this workout burn?

  • i the cat dead

  • hey im a teen but i want to lose weight (220 lbs) and i want to lose about 45lbs ...i can workout but i dont want muscle i want to burn fat , and any diets for meat eaters? i dont really like veggis ...i can try salads but i wont finish even a small one maybe half ..so any ideas ? but im more interested in the workout ..and i only have weight no more

  • @spartan117024 i would say interval training would work good for you. this could be anywhere from lifting [believe it or not would NOT add much muscle, but will define] and extreme cardio. if you want an example of a routine you could do, hit me up with a PM. also keep in mind, exercising first thing in the morning without any food in your system would work best, for you wouldnt be burning fat from the food you previously ate, but youd only have calories from the fat in your system.

  • @spartan117024 this video would be a great example for interval training as for cardio. you're working your main muscle groups like tris, bis, quads, calves, and all the time, keeping your core tight.

  • what if you cant do push ups for your life

  • I want to lose my stomache by June 28th 2010 today its June 11th. Do you anything that can help me lose my stomache?

  • what's the best way to lose a belly and lose weight fast? (if you're willing to give 5-6 hours a day) is it circuits?intervals?will you lose weight faster if you do 2 hours of intervals?

  • @sweetkisses4uonly Best way to lose fat fast is to exercise regularly and get on a proper eating program. Diet is huge when it comes to fat loss. Diet is WAY more important than exercise.

Two hours of intervals is a horrible idea. That would burn more muscle than fat.

You shouldn't need to exercise for more than 60 minutes at a time, and you shouldn't need to exercise more than once per day, 5 days per week (you could get amazing results only exercising once per day, 3 days per week).
