looks to me like some AL tubing, Dacron, and fiberglass battens. looks like you could get two small jibs from say a 12ft dingy and put them on a long AL pole and have a unified boom. sounds easy enough to me.
just was able to have some short test-rides with very less wind so jumping/flying was not an option yet. Still the construction should be strong enough to take it. ;) will see next time + will keep you updated.

I made it using composite aluminium tubes, half a windsurf-boom and two old windsurfing sails.
It's fun :)
