IRS almost decapitated 123-Kid with that Write Off. Credit to Waltman for selling it the way he did there. Almost made it look as nasty as a Clothesline From Hell, which came years later.

it looks like his shoulder is up (it was close, listen to the sound of the ref's hand hitting the mat while watching the kid's shoulder) BUTTTTTTTTTTT thats one of the many things that was better about wrestling back then ie. now en days a close count is always 2 and never 3. i remember a few pins from back in the mid 90's that were like this. I also love how the wrestling characters were more creative back then (no way would there be an IRS or Doink or someone named the 123 kid now en' days)

This was a very surprising win because IRS had just come off being in a tag team with Ted Dibiase and 123 Kid had been pushed on tv since his win against Razor Ramon, so logically, everyone expected the Kid to win this match to keep momentum going, especially asthese two did not have any build up before their Summerslam match.
