I'm sick of prequels unless they don't mess with Dante's original character design. DMC3 was supposedly the "beginning" of Dante. If they do more prequels, make one of Sparda and Eva when Dante and Vergil were still young, or make one that goes between DMC2 and 4, about Nero's past.

It can be a prequel, it could be a hypnotized into thinking he's Dante (like someone below me said), etc. And if it is a reboot, so what? You can just show them you want Dante to look the same somehow. Besides, you might not like the way Dante looks, but you are saying the game will suck mainly because of that. There is more than that. Just wait for the game...

strangely enough... I like it. DMC needed a revamp, especially considering how the series really did peak at 3 (Tell me its not true... 3 was the best). the only worry is whether or not Ninja Theory can pull off the same level of perfection they had in Ninja Gaiden. Here's to hoping.

strangely enough... I like it. DMC needed a revamp, especially considering how the series really did peak at 3 (Tell me its not true... 3 was the best). the only worry is whether or not Ninja Theory can pull off the same level of perfection they had in Ninja Gaiden. Here's to hoping.

what is this clusterf***? THAT is NOT Dante. Gameplay looks okay, but they shouldn't be trying to market this as a DMC game, even if they claim it's alternate universe. But Ninja Theory is NOT going to convince me that this kid is Dante. They'd have done better to stick to the original character designs and the original universe.
That, and Dante doesn't smoke, even speaks out against it in some of the non-canon books and such. I may not buy this game even with my loyalty to the series.
