not really a half pass here. beautiful horse with lovely gaits yet doesnt have enough lateral bend and suppleness to do a proper half pass here. Fabulous extended trot! close to a 10!
well at the moment im teaching my 8yr old thougherbred shes not a dressage horse and shes only broken in 4 a year and shes a jumper but she picked it up staright away but cud u explain to me how to do it because i ont think m teachin her the rite way thanx GOOD HORSE BY THE WAY
half pass is basically haunches in across the diagonal. you should get someone who knows what they are doing to help you from the ground. is also helpful to feel the movement first on a horse who knows how to do it.
Nope, that's a Half-Pass. When you ask for a half-pass, you are asking the horse to move in towards the bend; rather than out such as when leg-yielding. It's a much more advanced movement, the prelude of it being shoulder in.
wow amazing. :p I'm currently teaching my cob a bit of dressage, and we almost have the basic paces, but learning the more advanced things like half pass and sholder in will be much more interesting. :p it's a joy to watch your partnership. :D
wow that rider has a great seat. Beautiful extended trot and half pases!
