She was often spotted in this little "number" at the Sherman Oaks "Ralph's" supermarket.

I just got the VAI Old Fashioned Christmas from Amazon today! What a wonderful collection - I remember the Bell Telephone Christmas specials from when I was a kid, and it's wonderful nostalgia to see them again.

Henderson had an operatic lyric soprano before turning to full-time Broadway-popular singing and acting. As I recall, she had a few operatic roles in her repetoire, including Mimi in "Boehme." That is NOT, repeat NOT, to denigrate her. Ideally, every singer-actor-performer (also dancer) finds the best career path. Henderson's was certainly the best for her talents:) --
