  • Thanks for the video. I will be installing a 2011 Craftsman 1/2 horsepower and I hope it's not that loud. Be Well.

  • that car is a gmc envoy

  • @ConnorCatGarageDoors the one in this garage is a Buick something .

  • @GHWTVideos regal

  • like that sound

  • does the opener have 1 or 2 lights and whyat is the model # for the remotes?

  • @LiftMasterTim its a 1 light not 2 .. i can NEVER find a 2 lighted one , it was manafactured in 10/91 , and its model number is . 139.53600 . i also need a t-rail for this :/ i might ask my local door company tho

  • Do you have the remotes and the wall button from the 1987 Sears/Best Garage Door Opener?

  • @LiftMasterTim at one time i did , i had both remotes , the wall control and even the hole opener unit ! ( my grandparents are Italian and keep everything , ) then just in the past 2 years , they got thrown out , i found the visor clip for the remote .. but no remote or wall control . Sorry.

  • @LiftMasterTim i recently found the door arm and trolley ! Great news tho , in the next month or so , i will HAVE a pretty damn close model to the one they had . great find on eBay, im also ordering the 2 remotes , and a wall control , and i will be replacing my Die hard battery back up with it .

  • that sounds like my grampas garage door opener

  • Hey, great video! But, this doesn't look like it's a 1997 model. 1996 is when Chamberlain went over to rolling code. This unit is billion code. So it's early 1996, or earlier.

  • @mikeo2222 it says on the label January 97 it has a green button on the back .

  • @mikeo2222 Just checked today again , 01/97 plus they have a original remote that also says 01/97

  • @GHWTVideos Hey, I apologized! I checked back on some old charts, and I figured out that Rolling Code didn't start until late 1997... So, this was the newest billion code before the switch. Have you ever seen the three button craftsman billion code remote? It had a green light with a long button, and two shorter ones. Check it out!

  • @mikeo2222 isnt that the remote i showed ? a big button and 2 smaller ones ?

  • @mikeo2222 Hey , yes i have seen that remote . my friend across the street from this house , has a older sears with 1 red light on the remote , and 1 green . the green one has been replaced in just the last 2 days with a older model because their logic board died and couldnt find one on eBay so they replaced it with a older logic board. so they have 2 red lighted sears/craftsman remotes

  • Very nice but to bad the light lens cracked.

  • @sms373 thanks . yeah , the doors torsion spring was replaced and the repair man adjusted the Travel Functions i guess , it came up too far and cracked the lens .
