@LadyValea Serious? thats sick im totally doing this after my firebird project is done im twin turboing it and making her look a little bettle nd new paint job then ima find a camaro in those years to beast up
man you really did it justice! looks awesome! I like the hood, and the fresh chrome IROC wheels you put on it, nice turnout on body and paint!, looks perfect!
@3rd4thgenFbody I had to do this on both my Camaros. Yes it is not screws holding them in place. They are rivets. All you have to do is use a drill to drill out the rivets, and use a rivet gun to put the new motor back in. BE Sure to support the window and be VERY CAREFUL when you take the motor off of the bracket its on. If you dont stick a screw driver in a hole to keep it from moving then there is a really really tight spring that will launch the gear out and cut your finger off :)
Car looks awesome, except for the steering wheel! I had a stock '88 RS, red with T-tops and 2 tone (same red, but matte silver on bottom - factory). Wish I never got rid of it. . . That hood and rims looks great BTW.
@ReviewItUp Its not really a new dash, I got one at a Junkyard that had minimal damage, so i just had a interior shop do a few repairs on it, and plus it has a dash mat!
The hood is a WS-6 Ram Air Induction hood and I got it off Hawksthirdgen, something like that. Seats are off ebay, nothing to special, just set up for harness application.
@gittyupalice96 i guess everybody thinks just because its a sander it does the same exact thing my 3 main tools used are the DA,jitterbug and durablock set lol
@86camaromike I used that sander actually just knock off the thick layer of primer the previous people put on the car. After that I ended up hand sanding the whole car ti get rid of some of the swirls. The paint job came out awesome anyway! Since this video I did add some stripes on it and did some more interior work.
@Cerridius Its cool dude like i said its you project car work on it the way you want to i have a 86 and 85 camaro i put stripes on my 85 came out really nice do you have any recent vids up of this car
@86camaromike Right now i just have a bunch of pictures. Maybe later on I can just make another picture video with more of the updates. I do have a video on here of a ride inside and a quick fly-by, Check it out under Ladyvalea's channel.
Nice job. I really like the rims. I want to use those on my project. Any plans to lower the car? I want to lower about an inch but haven't researched that much. If you are doing so it would be great to see how and what you used.
thumbs up!
