I didn't know Catherine Hick's played Amanda. I first saw her as William Shatner's love interest in Star Trek IV. Coincedently, she played Steve Collins' wife in 7th Heaven. He and Shatner played in the first Star Trek movie. Both were Captains of the Enterprise.

This show were broadcasted at middle of 80's here in my country -Venezuela, by RCTV- and was known as "Toque Mágico" (Magic Touch in English), but the show were broadcasted very late at night (Thursday at 11:30 pm or 12:00 am... really, I'm not very sure right now) in that time.

I always wanted to see this show but never had a chance. My mom would watch Dynasty and back then only 1 tv (and 3 networks to choose from) wish this show would be shown on syfy/ Chiller or even sleuth.

This was briefly seen on CBS' 1982-'83 schedule [originally on Wednesdays at 10pm(et)], and was supposed to be a cross between "MR. AND MRS. NORTH" and "BEWITCHED" {the working title for the series was "The Good Witch Of Laurel Canyon", which was the pilot's title}.

A very intriguing show that ended after less than a year. I loved it, especially the cat.

This show was great...I loved the cat I think it's name was Dickens and she would talk to it and it would tell her stuff to help her solve the case.

Awesome Show- got copies transferred from video to DVD. Deserved a chance to survive but CBS put it in a difficult time slot!!! Only produced 13 episodes- like to see it surface on dvd... A dectective show Gem...
