Lilith, i love your videos, i spend hours watching your clips, its just what i need after a days work. I was wondering, with all the clips and footage you have of Diana Damrau is there any chance of you doing one of those montage type clips showing Dianas entire range from live performances? Subtitled? lol. I know im asking a lot, but i had to ask. Either way, thanks again for posting such great videos, it really is great to relax to Diana, she always brings a tear to my eye ;)

Oh, wow lol Well, the thing is my hard drive cracked and now I have more or less everything again, but not in one place, and it's kind of hard to do that. Plus I don't have internet at home at the moment. Sigh. Anyway, I guess I will do it someday ;) Soooo happy you like my videos! It's all because of HER, anyway ^^

No, no se trata de Voigth, ella es soprano. Quien canta el papel de "la concha omnisciente" es una contralto, claramente audible en este pasaje en el que está a dúo con Damrau. Pero he hecho averiguaciones y la contralto, la bestia peluda que escuchamos en este fragmento se llama JILL GROVE. Atentos con este pedazo de cantente, ojo, atención que tiene una voz I-M-P-R-E-S-I-O-N-A-N-T-E

i don't very much like this opera.. the instrumental music at the beginning is too "big" for my taste.

Well Strauss sometimes even used more orchestra-players than Wagner, for example in his opera "Salome". One needs about 70 players for Salome. Poor singers, who are literally belting if they want to be heard!

Hm, but it's not actually about the number of musicians, but the kind of instruments you use and how... Wagner used the metals in a way you can't fall asleep, but just because it is too noisy! xDDDDDDDDDDDD
