Oblivion: Archer Arena Fight

I completely forgot to do the arena in my first playthrough XD so when I finally did it after beating the main story line and countless side quests I stepped into the arena as a level 50 pit dog... epic win. One hit kills on everyone XD

Shoulda used the arenas glitch when you can jump up on the side stone and just rain arrows down on the other person. If you put up your difficulty to the highest your marksman will go up really fast.

Yeah can't really use just a bow. Blocking with it ruins the condition fast and running backwards gets old. My custom ninja class char shot arrows until the enemy was right in my face, then I hacked away with a short sword.

i just got the game but if u follow the main Qs u get a dremora bow, is that just a stage up from steel? ive played morrowind for along time they have there differences, i also chose dark elf for my archer

they make the arena guys insanely fast to prevent infinite kiting with no damage. the only way to stay clear is running away from them but obviously you can't attack that way :P

Use sword or magic :) Its weak to only use the bow. You can only hit 100 in bow so, why dont use a secondary?

headshots arent ALWAYS one hit kills, they just deal double or triple damage (depends if you hit lower or upper face, i hit directly in the eye from far away with zoom one time XD)

Because the game adapts to your level, that's why the story of the game is easier if you do it from the start.

you should know that archers SUCK at the arena... what you need there is a heavyrainment, a heavy shield and a big sword to go with it :D

when you go to liberate kvatch for the quest just nab it off one of their corpses, ive always had at least 1 of them die on me.

you also get the cuirass as a reward in the end of the quest, i think it has some bonuses on it

The best choice for an archer character is a Female Wood Elf. Yes, there's differences between female and male in this game. And if I'm not mistaken, the Female gets 10 more agility, while the male gets 10 endurance.

But I just like to crush some goblin skulls with my uber-ugly male orc!

i play on normal cause on hard its not fun, its not even realistic really, and on easy its too easy so normal is my game. and marksman is my favorite because if you play it right it can be better then a mage or battle mage or warrior, because even if your not good at it, its a skill that you develop as you go along, which makes it more fun then just slashing or constantly casting spells, its a challenge you can say

i change my difficulty to help train, but i generally have it just below normal mode, as if its any higher , fighting is just too far fetched...it took me like 20 arrows to kill one thing and im a master of marksman and i had deadric...
