  • Paraphrasing Friedman, it's not necessary to get good people into office, but to make it politically profitable for the bad people in office to do good things. If the Dems turn tail and do the right thing, I think that's good. They shouldn't have voted for the bill, but at least now they're trying to fix their mistake. It exposes the weakness of their position and more importantly helps get things moving in the right direction.

  • There are many economic fallacies out there leading people to be against capitalism in the same way some parts of evolution are counter-intuitive.

It's ironic that people in favour of atheism/evolution are against capitalism.

They don't know about a gene-centred view or what 'loci' means. they just 'know' evolution is right, and they've used the same intuition to say capitalism is wrong - they're wrong.

i would urge them to challenge their beliefs and read 'economics in one lesson' by Hazlitt

  • you are totally wrong!

  • thumbs up

  • The quality is not terrible

  • On September 22, some major provisions of Obamacare kicked in which won't let health insurance providers deny coverage for children with pre-existing conditions, among other things. On that same day, Regence Group, the largest provider of health insurance in the state of Oregon where I reside, announces they will no longer offer health insurance plans to Anyone under 19; numerous other companies have done the same thing. The unintended consequences are uncharacteristically clear on this one.

  • I don't know anyone who wanted the healthcare bill passed that was actually passed.

  • @ToTheConquered Unfortunately, I do, and I envy you for probably living in a much saner portion of the country; I wonder what that's like? Anyway, I know of people who are absolute slaves to Obama and the Democrat Party. It's very sad to watch.

  • @MikeTMerciless Anyone who forms a blind allegiance to someone they don't personally know is better off not pretending to have an opinion and certainly not helping their country, state, district, county, or town by voting.

  • @ToTheConquered That's an issue; one part pride and another part blind hatred of the opposition. They've been told that Republicans are just evil, that they don't care about people, that they're greedy, racist, homophobic, and whatever over and over that it's hard to believe they've been duped all these years. Occasionally you get someone who comes to see the truth about both sides, and realize that the Democrats are just far uglier, while the GOP are relative amateurs by comparison.

  • @MikeTMerciless You kind of sound like a hypocrite there at the end.

  • dont you make money off ad on youtube.

couldnt you use that to get the camera instead of asking us

    no offence

  • @john146only

That bein' said, I would not interfere with your faith either. If ye don't want to marry someone like me, so be it. It's your right to free practice too.

But it's also MY RIGHT ta practice me faith as I see fit. The government has no rights to regulate me religion, as the CONSTITUTION says so! Yer supportin a big government takeover of the religious rite of marriage.

I say get the Government OUT of me Faith! Freedom of Religion for All!

  • @john146only

Thank ye for provin' me point about majority rule bein just as tyrannical as anything else.

Let me put it this way, I am an ordained priest. The Constitution FORBIDS you the majority from passin laws that says that I can't perform a religious ceremony.

DOM says that I cannot perform a RELIGIOUS ceremony between two men, even though me faith says it's okay. DOM Regulates Religious Ceremonies. I say we need a small, constitutional government, one that stays out of marriage!

  • Lee,

Would you mind doing a video on how HHS will have full access to anyone's health information in the next two years. I find this break in Doctor/Patient privacy to be really disturbing.

  • The stimulus package could of worked if they didn't give it to corporations but to the middle class. It would of created a hell of a lot more jobs and the economy would be on the path to recovery.

  • democrats are great with money...

  • Day after day the so-called democrat party are becoming a parody of itself.

  • Great Marathon Lee.

  • Clearly, this is a predicament.

  • THE ONLY WAY OUT OF THIS IS TO IMPEACH OBAMA! IMPEACHMENT WOULD VOID ANYTHING HE DID UNDER THE EXECUTIVE ACT - IF WE CAN NOT DO THIS WE ARE SLAVES TO THE NWO GOONS

  • @BlessedONE333returnz It's not just Obama. His election is endemic of the nature of our culture, that seeks others to take care of problems that individuals ought to take care of themselves. Washington is another part of this disease; a pampered bureaucracy sheltered from it's own failures perpetually. On top of that, the Democrats are not for excellence or for America in general. Time and time again, Democrats have proven to be disloyal, and incompetent.

  • @john146only I didn't say religion isn't a part of my life, and I didn't say all that matters is money. My point is people can indeed have morals and values without specifying and pushing their religion onto others. Do we need to say God says not to murder people, and so that's why it should be illegal to murder people? No. Why? Because you don't need religion and you don't need to push your religion onto other people to know you can't just go around killing people.

  • @john146only The argumentum ab populorum is one of the more revolting arguments I've ever heard out of NeoLibs, as if 10,000 Frenchmen can't be wrong.

Apart from perhaps the war issue and our approach to foreign aid, we probably have a good bit in common. I'm a card carrying Libertarian Party member, but I've always tended more towards conservatism on issues of morality.

  • @tomlop What excuse did the healthcare companies find as an excuse to raise premiums?

I don't know what "scum much" means, but it sounds like something someone who doesn't like conversing with facts or in an adult manner would say.

  • So, you know those "rich" people Democrats like to tax? (They like to tax poor people too; they just pretend they don't.) I was talking to a rich guy, (notice no quotes. big $), who employs a bunch of people. He lives in California and, in summation, "It sucks."

Here's the kicker: to avoid more taxes and the ridiculousness that is Obamacare, guess where he is considering moving to and becoming a citizen of? That's right, China. Still think higher taxes don't = less jobs?

  • @john146only Heck, I'd be happy if someone like Jesse Ventura ran for Pres. He said he'd consider it, but he probably has better things to do. I don't agree with him on everything, and I don't get how he can be buddies with Al Gore while at the same time saying Cap and Trade/global warming is a scam. He might have to kick Al to the curb for me to vote for him, but, if he ran, at least he's a straight-shooter as far as I can tell. Check out some of his interviews on here if you haven't.

  • @john146only The Tea Party is mainly about less taxes, smaller government, and transparency. I would hope they leave religion out of it. Just my opinion, but I think Republicans would have done a good bit better over the recent years if they didn't bring up God as much as they do. There's not going to be religion in public schools anyway, so what's the point? Does God have anything to do with lowering my taxes? Not that I know of.

  • @john146only I have a hard time voting for the lesser of two evils. If I like a third-party guy, I'll vote for the third-party guy. Some people might say that's throwing my vote away, but I say voting for the lesser of two evils and then complaining about a two-party system is throwing your vote away. The more votes third parties get, the more publicity and more funding they will get next time. And then, some day, there won't be a "two-party" system anymore.

  • @WesSeid Great point the " voting for the lessor of 2 evils " is exactly what got us into this mess. That's why the tea party is so important, they've ousted the candidates the party wanted us to vote for or was fav to win in the typical shirts & skins game we have been playing.. They are defining the qualities that MUST be present in the candidate which is a standard to meet.

  • @john146only I don't think Ron Paul will run again. I doubt he even expected to win last time, and only ran to show people what Real change could be like. Man, his debate speech where he brought up the inflation tax that no one else talks about, etc, I bet it went over most people's heads at the time, but it sure seems like more people are hip to such things today. Not enough people, but more people.

  • the Health Care bill can be modified, Obama opened the door for National Health Care, now is up to us to make it workable and efficient.

  • @esancl Owebama opened the door... more like opened the back door with bribes and deceit. A huge change that they rushed through without even knowing what it really entails. They disregarded the will of the people, and the plan is so bad even Democrats didn't want to vote for it. Is November here yet?

  • @WesSeid Not everyone is against a Health Reform. Republicans had a long time to do something about this subject, but as expected they didn't. Democrats are a bunch of cowards for not standing up for what they voted for and what it's right. I hope November comes and whatever has to happen happens. History will repeat itself and we'll get stuck with more of the same...

  • @esancl Absolutely correct that not everyone is against health reform. The thing is in what manner that reform comes. This "reform" is a bad joke. They don't even understand its full effects or what it will cost, yet they shoved it through with backroom deals and bribes anyway. "More people will be covered." Yeah, because they Force you to buy it now. What they did is give big healthcare business more guaranteed customers and less competition. November better be good.

  • true...

  • Hahaha, I'm from Canada and watching your video gets me a nice little DEMOCRATS ABROAD advert.

  • @john146only It's too bad the Tea Party has been partially corrupted by some Republicans who shouldn't be there. But even with that, the Tea Party is still helping to give Dems and some Reps something to think about, so, it's a start, I guess.

Remember how it was a mere few years ago. How many people did Ron Paul alone wake up thanks to the combination of him and the power of grassroots and the internet? The times, they are a'changin'. I just don't know if there's enough time left.

  • Why shouldn't they lie? It's worked well for them. The mainstream media will not expose the lie. ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN will all take this lie and polish it up a bit then serve it for evening news. TASS never did it better.

  • @john146only I watched Reps take the high road, more or less, for years against ridiculous Dem nutjobs who claimed Reps wanted to starve children because they Increased school lunch program spending "only" 6% instead of 8%, said Reps wanted old people to eat dog food, etc. Then, in the 2000s, Reps spent big on social programs, seemingly so Dems couldn't say anything bad about them. Bush Sr. signed their taxes, and then they used it against him. You can't fight fair with these people.

  • They had to vote for it by gun point.

  • Lee! Love you're stuff. It's up to you, but why get a new camera? You usually just do a "head shot", it's not like your making a movie. It will only make any minor imperfection (pimple, blemish, ect.) more noticeable. Now you're going to need a make-up artists as well. Can anyone say, "Porn in HD."

  • @daveassanowicz I have no problem with the camera quality. Just could use a little better lighting more than anything.

  • great job Lee keep them coming ...

  • I love how liberals now refuse to take credit for this abomination. Crying they wanted the Single Payer system instead.

Well you fucking motherfuckers, why the fuck you didn't stop your fucking Democratic Party from fucking us over you fucking fucks. I hate your fucking guts you liberal piglets.

    OK I'll calm down now.

  • @saper321 plz cus more it makes your point seem more valid :)

  • the new camera should also let you do HD

  • a corrupt government? that's a new one. :P

  • Lol Lee Doren marathon

  • this crap makes me crazy! how stupid can the democrats be?! btw-would love to help you out with some money for the new camera but because of OBAMA and the liberals i have NO extra money. i am working longer and harder yet much much poorer.......yep the liberals must be in charge!

  • This seems like a ploy to get a few times more views than you'd get if you just put all of these stories into the same video.

  • I sent 10 bucks for the cam.. keep up the good work.

    Peace

  • A Video Marathon is a great way to get clicks for ad-revenue you prick. Atleast I get to take a break inbetween stories.

  • you should edit random explosions in the background that would be cool lol

  • NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Get a Nikon D90!!!!!!!!

  • how are all those sock accounts working for you?

  • Whoooo marathon!

  • A friend in Korea, which has relatively recently instituted socialized medicine, had touted it. Now he is seeing how it is being abused and is becoming abusive and is not the ardent supporter he once was. Live and learn.

  • @steve0281 A friend in Korea, which has relatively recently instituted socialized medicine, had touted it. Now he swears by it. Live and learn.

  • @Chewy8240 Becasue he is getting what he wants as the country goes bankrupt? I think you are missing the point.

  • personal responsibility is something democrats do not believe in

  • I've had several people tell me that "free" health care is great. They won't admit to the fact that central health care is paid for by the people through taxes, and thus if the coverage is not enough to cover things, people either pay more taxes, taxes get re-allocated from other expenditures, or the coverage gets uniformly cut. Unless of course I'm wrong, in which please correct me.

  • Lol. This is like a telethon for Lee to get a new camera!. I have no problem with that. Asking for donations in return for extra content and the idea for content to be improved in the future is great. However, I have no problem with the quality of the videos, so I will not be donating. Love the content though. Maybe if you asked for donations for that, I might consider.

  • ★★★★★

  • If you misspoke on the data, instead of putting in a comment maybe next time just re-record the video? Of course, it is easy for me to say...

  • @onseatsjc

The data was right, the comparison was wrong.

  • @HowTheWorldWorks

Only 304 views. Delete the vid, re-upload. It's the most professional thing to do.

Afterall, you want to get donations don't you? Who's going to donate to sloppy work like that? ;)

  • @HowTheWorldWorks Quick Question: What song do you use at the end of your video? Sounds neat.

  • Democrats are two faced thieves.

  • Only the voters can hold them responsible. If 90% of the media were controlled by the otherside, there would be no Democrat party.
