Amazing how the Government EVERYWHERE want to control EVERYTHING and the People GET NOTHING for free even in these austere times, are we always gonna be sheep???
this will only create one thing...large scale protests that if ignored...will turn VERY ugly. The entire establishment must listen to it's citizens...if ignored...will only result in chaos...the ppl will NOT tolerate this...especially the youth and young adults.
National Defense Authorization Act was passed in December, allowing the government to murder American citizens without trial, as well as imprison them. No out cry. But when the Government comes after peoples, music, games, and porn, then people make an outcry. Amazing...
@DimmedDiamond Look we have people who think their 38 secures their freedom and these are the same yo-yos who support spending $700 billion annually on standing armies. Most people are simply automatrons. They are breed to consume, nothing more. They lack even the most basic intellectual skills. Be grateful you are not one of them.
last time I looked, Ben Cardin was still a co-sponsor of PIPA. He now claims he's doing it so he can "influence" the shape of the final legislation. I sent him an email telling him they don't need to improve it. They need to tear it up into little pieces and burn it.

@polemius01 Please explain to me how a law designed to stop the spamming basically, of crap, not a good thing? See once you are exposed to actual quality, why would you ever return to a movie theater for example? or listen to a minute of Fox news? These people are so dumb we ought to be pushing to get SOPA passed asap. Turn it off, YES!
@stephenrblv Your convoluted grammar is nearly impenetrable, but, if I can decipher it, you seem to be in favor of passing a bill into law that will allow corporate media to censor anything you say that they deem to be copyright infringement.
If that is so (and, again, your writing "style" does not make your message clear), then I hope you enjoy your Amerika.

@polemius01 If SOPA results in less people linking to crud like Fox News, I say bring it on. Besides if you understand the Net you will know if SOPA is passed, this alone will spark a massive growth spike in innovation. Example, what will fill the vacuum left by the Corporate morons worrying about their outdated copyright models? gee new content providers maybe? SOPA can only be enforced if enough worry warts with Bananaphones comply and self censor themselves. Sopa is a bunch of BS.
@stephenrblv Once again, rhetorical mush. SOPA is good, you claim, and also "a bunch of BS."
This putative "innovation," if it happens at all, will occur as the result of corporate muscle flexing, as corporate world management adds still more controlling power to its arsenal. Where do you think this will stop?

@polemius01 It will go where the individual wants it to.That is where the power lies not in some Corp. They are trying to survive like everybody else. The uproar is being directed by online Corporate Giants. They have rallied their minions like you to fight an attack by Offline Giants. None of it matters to an individual. For every door they close 12 open. The sinkhole to avoid is buying into the FUD. The minute you do that you become nothing more than a bananaphone.

@DimmedDiamond Exactly my thoughts. The cliche is 'ignorance is bliss,' well ignorance is killing this country.

Does anyone doubt that these bills will pass? Congress must obey its corporate masters!
Still, it's strange to think that I can be sued by Paramount if I write "Live long and prosper" on my site.

@stephenrblv Again, a dearth of sense. Kindly name the so-called "Offline Giants," if there are such entities.
I am no one's minion.

@stephenrblv Your inability to understand the humor in the favorite video on my page is further indication of your identity as a troll.
Trolls always demand the last word. You may have it, for all the good it will do you.
