you should not put your finger in the barrel like that because if you hit the slide unlock, your finger will be ripped straight off. i know this because a close friend of mine made that mistake and he regrets it. the rest is ok
your could avoid sticking your finger in the barrel to check by making sure one bullet comes out and loading and clearing again, or simply clearing then shooting at your target ounce more when it is loaded to make sure nothing is in the chamber

I have a short 55 second video of me unloading a gun too - its not as great as yours, but i do stress that ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED. Keep up the great work!
ok this is so i dont get anymore spam on how i shot myself..It took a while to heal.Im pretty good with basic medical help.It went through my foot.i had a little hole in it but it burned, stunged, ang it hurt like a motherf***er.But the most painful part whas the part to disenfedt.Soaking it in disinfectant alcohol hurt like hell.....literaly.Im more careful now.And i dont rember what gun it was.. thanks. Oh and i was being stupid and pointed it the ground like in the videogames :P. (no more char)
Sorry, but these lessons are just not clear enough. He needs to explain in DETAIL about the slide and how to engage it and release it and when exactly.
"Pull the weapon back", uhhh I think you mean pull the SLIDE back. Geez.
The whole thing is just not completely clear. Firearm safety lesson videos should be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR and CORRECT with no room for error - or don't bother at all!
where did you shoot yourself exactly? with a 9mm? and can you explain the pain a bit more? is it like a burning, a broken bone or something like that?
Dude...you need to chamber check the weapon before you remove the weapon. You NEED to know the status of that piece before you perform any procedure on it. NO..you roll the weapon over 90 degrees and SLOWLY ease the slide back and let the round fall gently into your support side hand. "Jacking" the slide back to eject a round out onto the ground is very unprofessional..!!

That's a cool gun, I want to hold it really bad now for some odd reason. I'm going to ask my mommy if I can have a gun for my 10th birthday!
