Why don't they used the guy from the previous ep. to decipher the alien code?

@12chapin umm because they think hes dead all except Frank who won't tell them hes alive so he can protect him

@12chapin Walter was good at math, this is trying to decipher ideas, two very different concepts.

@JakeConhale rewatch the last episode, walter waSN'T good at math, he was good at deciphering, mostly with stuff that had patterns. Remember the scene in the diner, he failed the math question!

@Deadganon I thought he complained of a headache.

Even so, I wouldn't trust him to be able to decipher alien concepts. Mathematics, algorithms yes, but not ideas.
