It could be Star (but Star is African-American, this one is a Caucasian brunette) , but I don't think they had to talk about anything and were using hand gestures so they wouldn't be heard. They want a flashy flick that pleases the eyes and ears but lacks the special quality of the old flicks. Untalented writers and poor directing is what the movie industries all about now. @deathknot09 None of the four movies were in the original timeline. Kyle came from the original timeline into the new timeline which was in the first terminator. Which caused the second timeline, which Terminator Salvation, Terminator 2, and Terminator 3 are all part of.
This is very good. Is there any chance of yo,u making a HQ version of this? Also, would you add in the CG Game sequences from Dawn of Fate, Terminator 3, and Sarah Connor Chronicles and Salvation? Yeah I noticed that too. All the future scenes from T1, T2, and T3 take place at night. But in case you didn't notice the year the future takes place is 2029. The one in Terminator Salvation took place in 2018 both morning and night. This is just my theory, but maybe the Earth's atmosphere has gotten worse after Terminator Salvation. Maybe that's why it looks so dark and kinda smoky in the year 2029.
Remember what Kyle Reese said "during the day you have to stay inside. At night you can move around, but you have to watch out for HK's, John taught us how to dust them, easy" thats why its at night.

Why is it hard for machines to find humans at night from the previous Terminator movies while in Terminator Salvation its easy for the machines to find them? Considering the year that T1 - T3 takes place in 2029 while TS takes place in 2018. Aren't the machines supposed to have better infrared visions from T1 - T3 than in TS? BUT you have to remember that the future changed slightly because of the fact that john connor and his mum where aware before it was going to happen and so the human werent enslaved but instead immidiately started fighting.
its a nuclear winter , if a place gets nuked so much ,( like in the terminator story ) the nuclear fallout will block out the sunlight for years, creating freezing temperatures

I have to say they have set this story line up for 2 -3 More Good Terminator movies now. 2 more in the Future war and one more in the past. And remember the more "cheating" of time by passing knowledge down to yourself like Skynet did, The more changes and flaws we will see as viewers. The future is not set for us but it is to Skynet, . For all we know this story line had ALL the 4 movies data saved on the First T 800 that was found in the factory hard pressed. 2029 was the Time Displacement.

Overall, it followed the storyline? I don't see the T-800 being produced about 20 years too early as following the storyline. But of course, they can always fall back on the excuse of 'alternate future' for inaccuracies. Only that it won't make sense when Kyle Reese goes back in time.

I have recently seen T4 and while the first half was good (the assault, the city, the chase) the rest was garbage. Though the future war scenes in T4 weren't bad, I expected something different. There was not that feeling of dread that was in T1 and T2, no guerrilla, no downright human misery like living in sewers eating rats, the scenes in the prisoners camp were dissapointing at best as I expected an automated nazi-like slaughterhouse with all its bitterness.. In conclusion, T4 was bland
Yeah, but it was also PG-13. I wasn't expecting a lot of sheer misery. For me however, it was just knowing that these people were going to be slaughtered that made me cringe a little. It couldn't get too graphic though.
@MABarracus it has to be bland so they can force feed it to as many of the masses as possible so as to make as much profit as possible forget about producing a quality movies it must be clean of the hopelessness and dirt blood and grittyness that made the future war scenes truely great, they had to make a movie that 13 yr old could watch...call me crazy but T1&T2 where for adults, T3 was made for teens,T4 for tweens so T5 will be telly tubbies with ray guns.
The risistance wasn't that organized early in the war, not militarilily but salvation took place in 2018 i think and this took place in 2029. so uniforms came later. i hope that's what your looking for.
He didn't really "change" them. The HKs in T3 are "Heavy assault" Aerial HKs (much larger, acts as transport, a lot more plasma guns), compared to the ones you see earlier which are standard ones
they did not change it that's an FK (flying killer) they are transport's for skynet they transport terminators around the battle field its just that at 04:27 thers no HKs in the battle witch is kinda weird??? lol but i do think HKs are better then FKs :D
why would terminators have to upgrade to plasmas when normal bullets can kill humans quickly, surely it would have to be the humans who creat plasma rifles cause there havin a hard time killing machines, that could explain why it took so long for plasmas to get into action, because humans were building them and not machines
With regular guns, you run out of ammo really really fast. You'll notice in the new movie the T-600s have large backpacks with ammo belts in them, but if you get hit with anything explosive or set on fire or anything, then all of your ammo can go off and be destroyed at once. Laser guns (plasma) wouldn't have these problems.
in the 4th one i was hoping to the see the termiantor tank, the one that was in the first and second one. It reminds me of a soilder fighing a tank from ww2
so dont base that T4 future is suppose to be more advance in technologie because its the newest movie its not in order it is T1(pass) T2(pass) T3(pass) T4 , T1(future) , T2(future) , T3 (Future)
and in T4 it is the beginning of the war so thats why they still have equipment like plane(A10 Thunderbolt) and helicopter but with the years they have to use the remaining destroyed equipment and use the Terminator weapon this is year before the war scene of T1 thats why to there is NO LAZER and no Ground HK they were not invented
:) just to get really technical with you; I'm pretty sure the Ground HK were invented by the humans early on (You see small ground Hks in T3) and in Terminator Salvation i'm pretty sure you get a glimpse of one suring the attack on the Skynet radar base near the start. Also theres one that's being used as a turret in San Francisco.
the new one was pretty good. i just wished they fought more t600s in stead of fighting a shitload of hunter killers. i like these war scens better i kinda wish the movie was a little more like this.the theme for the new one was realy gay too but over all it was a pretty badass movie

Terminator Salvation was a great movie. There were no lasers cause it was set in 2018, 2029 was when JC sends his dad back so i can only guess that the lasers get invented sometime before then
True, but T1, T2 and T3 all show lasers. T4 did not explain why they did not have lasers, so if you had seen previous films (like all of us) you may have gone in thinking "where are the lasers?" The Director should have anticipated that. They sure did have a lot of technology in T4, but no lasers?
the harvester and the one Hk that killed the sub did have early plasma cannons
part 5 will show this scene years 2020-2029 when skynet evolves its tech and tactics to use plasma weapons and humans take weapons from captured T-units to fight back
they're not lasers. Laser = light, they used phased plasma, which is a super heated gas. The M-25A1 Phased Plasma RIfle came into service in 2008 to 2015 and replaced by the M95 from 2015 to 2029.
Well, I just got back from T4....Ugh, what a mess. First of all. it is NOT about the future war - I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it is nothing like what I depicted in my re-mix above. My rating 30%...
i would give it a 50, i was a little disappointed, maybe they should just let this movie series die away b/c another one of these and the series is dead...T3 was horrible, T4 was two times better than T3 but 1/5 of T2 and 1/6 of T1, they just cant produce a good follow up to T2....steven spieldberg needs to jump in here and save the series

Yes this could occur. Human resistance has the advantage of "machines" at their disposal. It would be "man & machines" vs just the machines. Not all machines will be fighting humans. We will already be toast by some other means before it could advance to this level I believe. Then again, do machines really kill us off? Interesting!
Its a bit unrealistic, AI would not be developed with total control like SkyNet over all weaponry. They would have an easy kill switch, and would be programmed in a way not to harm other human beings.
Isnt Salvation a prequel? From what Ive seen the ressistance uses "modern" guns like M-16's instead of lasers. I hope it keeps the dread of the past movies skynet war scenes to.

The scenes are at night because it has a better atmospheric mood effect on film. It simply looks cooler for those kinds of scenes to be at night.

Overall, it followed the storyline? I don't see the T-800 being produced about 20 years too early as following the storyline. But of course, they can always fall back on the excuse of 'alternate future' for inaccuracies. Only that it won't make sense when Kyle Reese goes back in time.

Fail movie was fail. It was truly terrible. It didn't follow the story line, and we've been waiting what... 15 years for a future war movie? What we got instead was a constantly over acting christian fuck tard bale, and no fucking lasers. That's right... they just killed terminators endoskeletons with an assault rifle. Terrible.

I have recently seen T4 and while the first half was good (the assault, the city, the chase) the rest was garbage. Though the future war scenes in T4 weren't bad, I expected something different. There was not that feeling of dread that was in T1 and T2, no guerrilla, no downright human misery like living in sewers eating rats, the scenes in the prisoners camp were dissapointing at best as I expected an automated nazi-like slaughterhouse with all its bitterness.. In conclusion, T4 was bland

Yeah, but it was also PG-13. I wasn't expecting a lot of sheer misery. For me however, it was just knowing that these people were going to be slaughtered that made me cringe a little. It couldn't get too graphic though.

@MABarracus it has to be bland so they can force feed it to as many of the masses as possible so as to make as much profit as possible forget about producing a quality movies it must be clean of the hopelessness and dirt blood and grittyness that made the future war scenes truely great, they had to make a movie that 13 yr old could watch...call me crazy but T1&T2 where for adults, T3 was made for teens,T4 for tweens so T5 will be telly tubbies with ray guns.

The risistance wasn't that organized early in the war, not militarilily but salvation took place in 2018 i think and this took place in 2029. so uniforms came later. i hope that's what your looking for.

He didn't really "change" them. The HKs in T3 are "Heavy assault" Aerial HKs (much larger, acts as transport, a lot more plasma guns), compared to the ones you see earlier which are standard ones

why would terminators have to upgrade to plasmas when normal bullets can kill humans quickly, surely it would have to be the humans who creat plasma rifles cause there havin a hard time killing machines, that could explain why it took so long for plasmas to get into action, because humans were building them and not machines

With regular guns, you run out of ammo really really fast. You'll notice in the new movie the T-600s have large backpacks with ammo belts in them, but if you get hit with anything explosive or set on fire or anything, then all of your ammo can go off and be destroyed at once. Laser guns (plasma) wouldn't have these problems.

and in T4 it is the beginning of the war so thats why they still have equipment like plane(A10 Thunderbolt) and helicopter but with the years they have to use the remaining destroyed equipment and use the Terminator weapon this is year before the war scene of T1 thats why to there is NO LAZER and no Ground HK they were not invented

:) just to get really technical with you; I'm pretty sure the Ground HK were invented by the humans early on (You see small ground Hks in T3) and in Terminator Salvation i'm pretty sure you get a glimpse of one suring the attack on the Skynet radar base near the start. Also theres one that's being used as a turret in San Francisco.

the new one was pretty good. i just wished they fought more t600s in stead of fighting a shitload of hunter killers. i like these war scens better i kinda wish the movie was a little more like this.the theme for the new one was realy gay too but over all it was a pretty badass movie

Terminator Salvation was a great movie. There were no lasers cause it was set in 2018, 2029 was when JC sends his dad back so i can only guess that the lasers get invented sometime before then

True, but T1, T2 and T3 all show lasers. T4 did not explain why they did not have lasers, so if you had seen previous films (like all of us) you may have gone in thinking "where are the lasers?" The Director should have anticipated that. They sure did have a lot of technology in T4, but no lasers?

part 5 will show this scene years 2020-2029 when skynet evolves its tech and tactics to use plasma weapons and humans take weapons from captured T-units to fight back

they're not lasers. Laser = light, they used phased plasma, which is a super heated gas. The M-25A1 Phased Plasma RIfle came into service in 2008 to 2015 and replaced by the M95 from 2015 to 2029.

i would give it a 50, i was a little disappointed, maybe they should just let this movie series die away b/c another one of these and the series is dead...T3 was horrible, T4 was two times better than T3 but 1/5 of T2 and 1/6 of T1, they just cant produce a good follow up to T2....steven spieldberg needs to jump in here and save the series

Yes this could occur. Human resistance has the advantage of "machines" at their disposal. It would be "man & machines" vs just the machines. Not all machines will be fighting humans. We will already be toast by some other means before it could advance to this level I believe. Then again, do machines really kill us off? Interesting!

SkyNet was so advanced that no human force would even know how to build machines to fight for them.
And besides, human soldiers are still better fighters then the terminators, which are slow to react and clumsy at times.

Well, for one thing, one of the early "slow terminator marches" is actually from T3, not T2.
I'll definitely be watching T4 when it comes out. It'll be nice to see just how the human resistance manages to outfight a machine army.

Its a bit unrealistic, AI would not be developed with total control like SkyNet over all weaponry. They would have an easy kill switch, and would be programmed in a way not to harm other human beings.
