I agree that there is no wrong or right way. When I tried to do what everyone else was doing I was getting so frustrated to get it to come out right. When I realized it was my page and not all the talented people I see on youtube, it was so freeing and I wasn't so frustrated.
Thanks for showing us a SIMPLE way to make our flowers pretty! I'm not good at thinking of things on my own, and these two techniques were so easy. Now I just need to go get my coffee and start! LOL
I am going to make a whole mini album with your lolly flowers tomorrow! I don't like lolly flowers, but I love yours! I am sure I will post a video when I am done! Thanks for the idea! I am only working with scraps right now, I saw how much I had and decided I HAVE to use them and your flowers will work wonderful with my left over scrap papers! TFS!
Julie from milkcannyc. It's on my favorites list if you want to see it. She uses an edge distresser and gesso, and hers have more layers. I liked them so much they inspired me to make these.
That scrapbook page is gorgeous!!!! I have seen those flowers but would have never thought of putting them on such an elegant page. But wow did you make it work. I also love the idea of the ink with the paint. Beautiful flowers. Love the video!
