  • Dune is a brilliant book, but I'm finding it a bit dry.

  • How long did it take you to make this video pascal? Great work btw.

  • REALLY lovely, I wish there was the whole film like this...... well done

  • Thumbs up if you came for the boobs

  • like this comment if you see the big BOOBS!! =D

  • @IGotSticky Idiot.

  • this sucked.

  • I'm gonna spice her up! ;-))

  • Keep talking bitch, whilst I jerk off over your cleavage and bold head

  • grats, very nice!

  • VERY GOOD

  • goooood

  • It is prana-bindu suspension. It is known today as an advanced technique in yoga from India.

  • Awesome work... now I got to go dig out my copy of Dune and watch it again... there goes 3 hours :)

  • @wolftech65301 Great idea, I'll do that tonight ;)

  • soundtrack by toto weren't they an eighties band?

  • Ayahuasca > Spice

  • One word: Ornithopters!

  • lol, iraqus

  • She looks like a Zabrak

  • "And the more i think about the more i think the costume fits more with a Honored matres style" - you're absolutely right, but this speech was given in the film by Princess Irulan who was not a Bene Gesserit.

  • Thumbs up if you´re watching this in 10191 and cars are not even flying yet.

  • @yosoyvico fuck those 8 people! im flying like FUCK!

  • @yosoyvico see my vids& learn herbs as reishi, coriander, cayenne, dandelion, dock, pine, maca etC!

  • after half a year im again here still loving the shit out of it

  • Very Art Nouveau with the halo/window. And I learned something new: in the future, the rabbit ear antennas ARE the televisions.

  • Spice = Worm shit

  • @oysterlicker 2 houses, 1 planet

  • I'd like the video but I can't stand that damned clicking in the audio!

  • The most important thing in the universe is....Worm feces

  • @bulnamja To be perfectly honest, that pretty much how I see the universe as well. LOL

  • Nice chest

  • Now Im a big fan of both the movie and the TV movie's as well as read all the books, and i got to say man you fucking Nailed it. Perfect.

  • If I remember correctly, it is Prana-bindu.

  • Stunningly artistic.

  • this is amazing....as well as her chest.

  • I see they still have breast implants in the future.

  • cool. I like sniffing spice and spacing

  • OMG A NEW ONE!!!!!!!!

  • I got Frank Herberts autograph.Wonder if its worth anything?

  • @Bunglezip2 educate your children and pass it on them

  • Let it flow..,

  • give us David Lynch

  • Nice job with this, I especially like the fact that you aren't trying to pawn this off as a new movie or an "official" trailer or any other crap that people put in their description in order to get views. Good job!

  • Spice is illegal, but you can get "medical spice".

  • so arakkis is a futuristice planet version of the country iraq. Even the names bear resemblance. Arrak-iss/Iraq.

  • Sorry mate, but the music that sounds there, ("The Prophecy Theme" as is known) was NOT made by Toto, it was made by Brian Eno, (he is specifically credited in the movie because of that).

  • Since they are blocking the original, Double thumbs up. But zomg, 80s Virgina Madsen:)

  • The person giving this monologue is Princess Irumlan. She is not a Bene Gesserit.

  • @Crosis101

    yes she is

  • @Crosis101 To be fair Irulan was the daughter of Anirul, a Bene Gesserit. She was trained from birth by Bene Gesserit and until her defection following the birth of Paul's twins, followed all but their order to abort the children. So yeah, about as close to the Bene Gesserit as possible.

  • The spice is Chuck Norris and Chuck Norris is Chuck Norris.

  • You can see that the story was ripe for telling but not as a rehash of the book. Love your beginning. Now we just need it done right. Paul needs a buddy so that he doesn't talk to himself. It worked in the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but flopped in this film.

  • ...also known as - Nude. I mean Dune!

  • Why do people say, "I forgot to tell you..."? No they didn't.

  • If you thought the most important thing to stick in your Dune trailer was a pair of enormous tits covered with handkerchiefs, maybe you should be making trailers for the prequel books instead you worthless clod

  • You do realise that there's a new version of the film being released this year? Which is probably why you're getting so many hits.

Glad you used the Irulan intro, the god awful one from the extended TV version is utterly terrible and ruins the movie.

Dune: Third Stage edit FTW (google that you might be pleasantly surprised)

  • something about this scene keeps making me come back and watching it. kind of dream like.

  • OFG, really? another Dune movie? how many are they going to put out before we stand up and say enough already, the first one that came out was stupid enough, the next ones they made only continued down hill from there

  • NO FUCKING WAY MAN

    HOLY SHIT

  • nice animation, though I wish you'd used the other version of the voice over without the "oh, i forgot to tell you".

I appreciate what Herbert did in terms of establishing a distinct style, but I still prefer keeping closer to the book.

  • I LIKE DUNE 1 BETTER THAN 2 IF U AREE THUMBS UP

  • Lemme guess the spice is the most important substance in the universe, again?!

  • man your is epic!!

  • Too much talk. UNLEASH YOUR TITTIES.

  • Irulan was a blue-eyed blonde. And she never wore shit like that. She wore high-necked dresses with whalefur collars.

  • Replace spice with oil and you have today!

  • @Gantzer1 Beavis: Hhh hhhg I'll replace this chicks old spice with rubbing oil all day long hh hhgh. Butthead: Uh hhh hhh she said a-rack-us hh hhh. Beavis: Hhh hh a-rack-us, ya a-rack-us from Frank Herbert's Pune hhh hgh hihgh. Butthead: Uhh this spice stuff must be kickazs, because it can fold the space between your moms legs and can get you really high hhh hhh. Beavis: Hhgh hhh she puts on her boob goggles at 1:04 hghh hhh hhh.

  • Whatever dude I'm just telling the truth.

  • @Gantzer1 nope, DMT.

  • @xii226a DMT?

  • @Gantzer1 it doesnt extend life though

  • @n3rdbear you can make medical products and drugs from it so yes it does.

  • @Gantzer1 you're not understanding the concept. It isn't like spice melange which can be drinked straight up and extend life. Oil can't extend life, extending means up to 200 to 1000 years. Like the novel says spice melange triples lifespans. You can't compare that to oil.

  • @n3rdbear Given that oil gives us the power to heat and light our environment, and create many pharmaceuticals, I'd say it does.

  • @EvilEddtheRed I'm convinced Dune has an idiotic fanbase. No one has lived 200 years because of oil, damn trolls.

  • @n3rdbear no but it does to some degree through antibiotics and other life saving chemicals were splitting hairs here.

  • @Gantzer1 The spice must flow !

  • @Gantzer1 They even mention jihad; I lol'd when i rewatched it and caught the word. Then I frowned at how true things are.

  • @Atarius Jihad only means holy war its a very old and if im correct jewish term.

  • @Gantzer1 Correct as far as what it means; I know it's in the Koran as well though i don't know the origin of the word. I was citing that this movie is an a small way is sort of of mirroring Muslim geo political relations between them and the west.

  • @Gantzer1

Except for the fact that oil does not expand consciousness

  • @MrBossychief im sure we can find some mind expanding drugs to make from it the sky's the limit!

  • @MrBossychief If you breathe the fumes you will think your mind is expanding.

  • @Gantzer1 shhh dont let people in on that secret!

  • Couldn't hear a word she was saying ..my eyes was focused on something else!

  • Somewhere in the dim future, I actually intend to make my own version of the Dune opening for a (non-Dune) parody project I have in the works. Now I feel inspired to push forward and make that bit a whole lot sooner! :-)

  • It's an excellent idea/project. I think DUNE would work best as an entirely animated project.

  • @ContrastY Since the last Dune series and latest movies were soo awful???? Terrible idea.

  • Wonder how many times she said "spice"...

  • is this a new game? new movie, wot?

  • Great.. I wan't more now..make me more..

  • @Tarik360 read the books, finite resource, or is it!

  • maud'dib!!

  • Reason I dislike the movie was the main characters' lack of any trace of charisma. I find this version actually preferable! Great work :)

Tack this onto the original and release the movie again.

  • nice

  • That said, it is just me (or my browser), or is there a little scratchy sound during the speech/music? It's like the 'tap-tap' of a grammafone/vinyl thingy you sometimes had. (Yes, I'm old enough to remember those.)

  • nice tits.

Ermm.. I mean; nice vid/AMV :-p. I stumbled across this , and I actually first thought it was a trailer for a new dune movie or a remake (done right, this time, maybe?). Then I saw it was a bit too 'digitally' for that, and thought it was the intro of a new Dune game. Seems it was neither (alas), but it is well done nevertheless. The Dune books (the original ones I mean, not the crap from his nephew) deserve a good film-adaptation, like LOTR had. Don't you agree?

  • no tengo ni pajolera idea de lo que ha dicho la tia esa ...........pero dune era una peli buenisima y me gustaria ver que tal esta esta ; por cierto virginia mandsen que parece que pone la voz salia en la original

  • DUNE MMO, I would play it.

  • Dune comeback? ? ? ? ? it is truuu, i,m remember dune emperor battle the best game of the world

  • this post gives me gas. must be for kids. :(

  • i hope its ganna be a good game, im looking 4ward to playing it=)

  • I hope it is possible to make a new version of dune like yours

  • Brilliant work! When I first saw this, before I read that it was fan-made, I thought we were getting a new version of Dune :)

While on the subject, I enjoyed the Sci-Fi channel version of 'Children of Dune' very much.

  • Nicely done. This just reminded me of track by Astral Projection called Dancing Galaxy.

  • Waaay better than the original, simply due to the fact that she didn't do a head-bob when saying 'Dune'.

  • I like the style of this opening: more exotic and representative of a desert narrative, less Baroque than the David Lynch version (which I do like for the record), but still this gave me chills in watching. Great Job!

  • i'd like a dune anime!

  • i wouldnt mind seeing an animated version of dune

  • The spice must flow

  • sound of this yt clip is horrible

  • You should do an entire movie!

  • i dont usually leave comments very often but I love Dune and I think you deserve some kind of award for this , or at least a nod or a push for the movie to be made with you providing the narration and the history of the Dune universe ;) well done man

  • Where can I get a decent still of her to make into a wallpaper

  • Please can a new Dune film actually be made and please can it be directed by Peter Jackson?

Oh and I want it to be three hours long as well.

  • H.R. Giger is GOD

    #1 Surrealist walking the planet.

Without him as planned DUNE will always be a small fraction of what was to be...

Imagine ALIEN & Species without H.R. Giger? See it's impossible, yet DUNE was later made.

Dali may have created tensions yet regardless Alejandro Never cares about losing a chance like that or cooperating with ANYONE & ONLY cares about making a film for his OWN spiritual mystical quest 100% Independently of ALL the others involved & their Motives.

  • I came for the Dune, but stayed for the boobs.

  • Amazing! Standing ovation my friend : )

  • I'm actually a bit sad that the H.R. Giger version of dune was never done. I visited a giger exhibit in a museum and saw many designs for the movie. :/

  • @d0nu771 actually, i made a blog about it around the same time i made this animation. Search for "pascal blanche blog"on google you should find it ( can't direct link ) lots of designs from Giger ;)

  • Is it just me? or isn't it beyond a coinsidence that the anime talks of a leader called "Shaddam" (Saddam) speaks of, "Spice Milanche" (Oil) "is vital to space travel" i.e. fuel for transport etc. Describes a place where a "Messiah" will come tofree the people, "Desolate, dry planet with vast deserts, planet is Iraqus" (Iraq)... CREEPY!! SPREAD THE WORD

  • @stanbrit1 Yes, the plot partly based on precisely the aleqory you described. The Fremen use Arabic btw. But that is not the point of the novels. They actualy have many points. And the planet's name is Arrakis.

  • @d0nu771 I concur! That Giger/Jodorowsky DUNE would have BLOWN MINDS!

  • @d0nu771 i think technicall the giger art version was called the jodorowski version, which peter berg got a hold of the screenplay option for, but it just turned into a coaster on his desk, or so I was told. you're right, though. major bummer. woulda been awesome. the entire planet of geidi prime (home to house harkonnen)was gonna be h.r. giger concept.

  • @d0nu771

His designs were used for the Guild Navigator, the Harkonnen sets and the stilsuits.

  • @d0nu771 the movie was also proposed to jodorowsky...how nice it would be done dune by a visionary like jodorowsky and a brilliant artist as giger. i love lynch but him fail with dune.

  • The spice must flow

  • thanks for all the cool feedback guys! i don't know what is going on, but the trafic has never bben that good! continue like this and ill have to find a way to make the whole movie! heck i could just start with the whole trailer for starters? ;)

  • @pascalblanche Man, I wish you would make the whole movie. This trailer looks really cool. I nearly peed my pants when I saw this, thinking it was an actual trailer to an actual film. Please please make it! Oh go on!

  • @pascalblanche i remember reading in the bible something like;;who will have the strength to put a hook between the scales of the leviathan..it was only when i saw dune with the fremen hooking the worms that i thought fuck thats thesame omly i cant remember where it was

  • very very nice!!!

  • Better than the original opening scene

  • Awesome! Good Job ;)

  • This may be the best rendering of Basil Exposition's daughter I've ever seen!

  • that's very good - i wonder if God Emperor of Dune would be best done as an animated feature

would certainly solve many technical problems with the worm-god

  • Very good work here.

  • have any of you people read the books absurd bullshit anmation read and learn!!!!

  • Nice 3D, but the titles need more work.

  • That was cool,ha ha ha ha.

  • nice pussy!!

  • MUAD'DIB

  • It is the year 10091, and I am still waiting for Obama to pay for my gas and bills.

  • Good work there. I'm jealous of your skills. "Dune" would make a good remake wouldn't it? But I'd like to see it with way more action than the original. Some hot chicks. Throw in some "Mad Max". A bit of "Cthulhu Tech" maybe.

  • you did a good work there

  • oh she wasn't breathing? My eyes couldn't get past her ultra pert funbags...I wouldn't have a clue if she was breathing.

  • @honeynougat1 as trained Bene Gesserit member, she can control her breathing and metabolism, so its looks like she is dead, no problem with this ;)

  • Dam some production need to remake Dune. Sony need to with all it scifi movie. If anyone know someone from Sony go ahead and pitch them the Idea.

  • not bad, not bad, nice boobs too XDXD

  • Isn't she supposed to be blond?

  • real question is who is the good guy in this tail.

  • @starknight97 Like all truly good stories, there is no "good guy".

  • @1dlesniper awww wrong japs love this idea of no real good guy or bad. In the end you pick the least evil or the most good. In this case it's the most good.

  • @starknight97 I'm not sure exactly where you're disagreeing with me. I implied that all the characters were placed somewhere in the grey area between good and bad. You said "least evil or most good"; ie pretty much the same thing, no?

  • @1dlesniper Ahh ok the point disagreeing is their still a good guy it not black and white and he so much harder too see here but he's still here. no it not you way them and who ways out the heaviest on good is a good guy. yet just people shouldn't be wayed but the nations themselves.

  • That's pretty neat. Well done.

  • Dune The Battle for Arrakis

  • The concept is pretty stupid... the spice only exists on one planet in the universe? If their technology was so advanced, they'd be able to replicate ANY substance using nano technology. DUH!!!!!!

  • @TheSmoonge The original novel was written in the early 1960s and published in 1965. Nanotechnology wasn't even science fiction back then. The original novel is very good in my humble opinion, sort of a science fiction Macbeth. I didn't care much for the sequels though and stopped reading halfway through the second sequel.

  • @TheSmoonge You forget that in the book humanity has forbidden the construction of thinking machines, meaning computers of any kind. So there would not be any Nano machines.

  • @Sporkmater I didn't read the book, unfortunately. Or maybe it was fortunate?

  • 1:04 boobs mutch?

  • Interesting. If another version of Dune is made the producers should contact you as Prod Designer. Good work.

  • Damn autocorrect *if anybody*

  • Very cool. I often wondered if Andy could ever really pull off a movie. (attempts so far have been awful). You captured something here. Very cool.

  • GREAT ..FANTASTIC...

  • Pretty good... but she's not breathing, reminds me of those new fangeld sex robots they're making for schools in japan

  • I have one of those, ENEKAGYEPNEN, purely for research purposes . .

  • OMG!!! this is awesome

  • did the spice give her breast implants?
