I like this song. Pearl Jams Eddie Vedder tried to up the awareness of this band wearing tshirts and the like getting them exposure. He also covered this song in a more mellow version which was cool. Punk or no punk, if Eddie liked them he saw talent and i see it too. Who cares if the band members were assholes, you forget what its all about...

If you really listen to some of their songs, they really are not bad musicians. I'm sure they could play much more difficult songs if they weren't so busy with the whole Sid and Nancy shit and their little reputations. Bands often chose to expose so much of their talent for the song, so you can't really judge that.

The only one from the Sex Pistols that didn't really count in the band, though I'm not a big listener, is more than likely Sid.

And i can say, the original version is bye DM, so it make it be better, without DM, Pearl Jam never played Its Ok... So, the Pearl Jam versions its great, but the original is from DM, great too...

What's with the Dead Moon hating? They were friends of PJam, and gave their blessing for PJ to do "It's OK" live. PJ strove to expose unknown artists like DM to their audience, using their fame in a positive manner. Yet PJ fans come on youtube to bash DM, one of the greatest rock bands ever. It's sad.
