  • it sounds better this way

  • dear company, please allow the audio of this fantastic cheese rock classic

  • what kind of company would deprive us of this fantastic cheese rock audio?

    hmph

  • LYRICS!! || EasyLyrics . org/?artist=Angel&title=Feelin%27+Right

  • ya it is i like a lot the classic rock stuff im a guitar player to for lot years

like that sound they had to work harder for the music back then

    than now.

  • well you found the video witch is the yellow for sound you need the red and white one lol.

  • @blist777 Oh THAT'S what I was doing wrong! Thanks for letting me know! There is a live audio of this song on YouTube so you just have to sync them up . . . .

  • @ProperGroupie Hey just messing with you I understand.

  • @blist777 I know. It's cool . . . . It is a BUMMER that the record company doesn't see the positives of these old videos.

  • @ProperGroupie Hey just messing with you I understand.

  • whats this silent video?

  • @blist777 Copyright infringement . . . think of it as mime karaoke????

  • WHAT record company? Seriously, whatever record company it was should be elated that people even WANT to hear these guys. (I'm one of them.) Seriously - talk about shooting yourself in the promotional foot.

  • It's better without the audio. hahahha!

  • Was Greg the first guy to put a strap on his synth/keyboards, and play like that? I don't remember anyone else doing that at the time that looked kind of limited, because you don't have access to a full 88 keys, like maybe you could play just small keyboard parts of a song? I don't know for sure, but it defintely looked awesome to me, back then.

  • No, Edgar Winter wore his keyboard much earlier in the 70s.

  • So did Gary Wright

  • como puedo hacer para escuchar este video

  • The one and only Jan Hammer.

  • That's messed up no audio.......

  • Sorry, the record company pulled the audio off.

  • LAME!!!!!!

  • rg2027x (

yep I agree......Great lost band..would love to see them get the rec, they deserve

  • Search "angelfeelinright" in the YouTube box.

  • there's no voices,no sound,i think youtube silenced you.

  • no one buys angel stuff. there is no market for this. why would they care. silly

  • No audio..Sucks..

Don't these money grubbing greedy FUCK record empires and their corporatist asshole hight paid attorneys realize this is PROMOTION for crying out loud? and EXPOSURE for these groups to people who haven't heard their music? That this is a way to gain new FANS?

What do they expect people to do, keep the music and videos tucked away in the dark buried in obscurity so no one can hear them?

YouToob never used to be like this. The BS censorship invasion is a crock of shit.

  • @rg2027x Good fucking comment, Yeah whatever the fuck youtube is doing with BS censorship,''is nothing to make it better,''in what way? Typical stupid shit the way the audio is totally separate from the video? Stick there fucking noses into anything for personal and fuck the consecquences..

  • @dannyhood66 So-called "powers that be" rich beyond their wildest nightmares dont like us enjoying GOOD music of our own choosing. They want us consuming their latest disposable, dumbed-down corporate offering FAD promoted by their billion dollar marketing corporations as "socially acceptable" to masses of TV mind control programmed consumer widget shoppers. How dare anybody want to hear music the oligarchs don't have "markets" for & aren't making $ on! while screwing musicians out of royalties

  • I had never heard these guys. I just read today that they were a Van Halen rival back in the day so I came hear to see what they sounded like. But if some pecker record exec thinks I am gonna go out and buy a 30 year old album just so I can hear what they sound like, fuuuuuuck you.

  • Angels first LP came out in 1975, Van Halen was 1978. VH is from Southern California, Angel, Washington D.C. VH was a hard rock/party band, Angel was a theatrical/pomp band. I fail to see any rivalry, whatsoever.

  • Punky and Eddie used to hang out. They all lived in CA for awhile. To the other guy--too many people want everything for free. Do you work for free?

  • They were not rivals, what happened is that when the VH debut lp was about to be released, in late1977/ early 78, Angel's management got wind of the first VH single, the cover tune "you really got me", they tried to get Angel to record the song, and release it first on their next album, a desparate and despicable ploy to save a declining band at that point , I don't think it was the bands ideal , rather sleazy management, if I remember right.

  • Also Gene Simmons tried to get VH signed to Casablanca and they passed! Probably better for the band after what happened to the label. They probably would have made them write a Disco song anyway!LOL!

  • ah man..this is their best song..and that other fast one on the other side of this record..other than that there songs suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkked

  • To hear some of the songs they took the audio off, like the winter song, go to the official angel myspace site. Hope this helps, lol

  • HEY UNIVERSAL Studio Song Dickfucks, I got Something Hanging Next to Your Sound Exclusions and It's Begging for your Friggin Lips to Wrap Around It.... on a 30 year old song you money grubbing bastards... lick me...

  • Where is the frickin' sound?!??

  • I am very sorry but the record company took the video off of YouTube for copyright infringement. The only way I am allowed to leave it up is without the audio. You'll have to complain to them. Sorry . . .

  • What ever happined to this GREAT band?

  • They reformed several years ago... With only the singer and drummer from the "real"... ANGEL.... Punky... With that cool black hair... He owns/runs a tanning salon somewhere... Plays country music only now... Heh...Heh... Not in a band or anything... Just jams and jacks around ya know... Go to Google... Type in Punky Meadows... And check out and he look in the late 90's... One site is call Punky Meadows Shrine... The other is... Me and Punky
  • Just watch Punky... Kick some ass!!!. During the swap off solo with... Giuffria... This remember... Was in '76.... Eddie Van Halen... Came out in '78 or '79... And don't get me wrong.. I'm NOT... A...Van Halen fan whatsoever!... Just pointing out a KILLER underrated... Guitarist.. Punky..."Get Down" Meadows!... Pretty awesome for that time period... Does anyone agree?
  • I think they just blew Blackmore and Lord away.

  • Yep I agree with ya.. When I first saw them back in '78... And Guffria walked out with this... "Keyboard/Guitar" instrument.... It was something new at that time... We kept telling everyone after that concert... The keyboardist had this fuckin... Guitar/keyboard... And he traded off solos with the guitarist... Just BLEW everyone away back in those days! That's the first time I had ever seen that type of keyboard... Those were some BAD Motha Jacks! ALL OF THEM!
  • Damn... I have been watching this friggin video... Everyday... For the last 2 weeks.... And I still... Have not.... grown tired of it!... Probably... ANGEL... At their finest moment... Peaking... So to speak... Geez! Eye miss those good old days!
  • PROGRESSIVE METAL... Before... Anyone in the universe... Knew what the "frig"... Progressive metal was.... So... Eye'm sayin... ANGEL... Was.. WAAAAAAY... Ahead of their time!
  • great party song

  • Ok...I've said it once... I'll say it twice... I'M....WAAAAAY... NOT GAY!... But geez... That fuckin Punky had hair... Farrah Fawcett would have been envious of... Back in that time period... Cool Motha Jack... Punky... And all of ANGEL were back then! That was.... REEL PURTY HAIR PUNKY!... Heh...Heh....
  • excellent, je n'ais pas écouter ça depuis une trentaine d'année

  • I remember this from way back. Can anyone put "Big Boy" or "Telephone Exchange" on here???

  • BEST BAND EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Ok...I AM VERY NOT GAY... Love those young girls/women.... But look now... Punky Meadows had the fuckin "prettiest"... Heh...Heh... FUCKIN!! Coolest hair I've ever seen in metal.... Been dyeing it blue black since '78... Damn!... I wish it was still thick and long like it used to be.... Getting old....SUCKS! Ha!
  • hell ya!!!!

  • Thanks man, Angel will always live as long as I live in this life and after, LONG LIVE ANGEL!

  • Seen this fantabulous band in South Bend, Indiana somewhere around 77 to 80 sometime it's been toooooo long but they had blocks all over the stage and as the hands stacked the cubes they would light with each band member in the stack of blocks. Each band member come on stage that way, it is still one of the best concerts I've ever seen, before the concert began I was turned onto Andreas Vollenveider with "Down to the Moon", I even had to go down and see what kind of speakers were doin'the lowend

  • Saw them in '78 & '79... Opening for Ted Nugent... Best concerts seen in my whole life!!... And I saw alot of concerts back then!... Priest,Kiss,Rush...etc.... Great... FUCKIN GREAT musicians... All of them... Been dyeing my hair blue black like Punky's for the last 30+ years... If I don't know... It grows in WHITE... Heh...Heh....
  • i still have their album and play it to this day. love this band

  • Hi Foggy7, I'm afraid I have posted everything I have! I did post some old home movie type videos on Sunday. You could turn off the sound and listen to "White Lightning" and pretend! They had no audio so I don't know what songs they were singing. IF anyone has any footage of Angel on DVD or VHS that they'd like to share, I am happy to put it up on YouTube for you - contact me here! Take care Foggy! PG

  • u must be a bay area bub......still cant believe they played in Fremont @ I missed it..

  • FREMONT.....i went to American..they played in FREMONT

  • Hello Proper Groupie.... I was hoping that you had a copy of "white Lightning" anywhere..If you had,and could post it,I'll never bother you again.... Foggy

  • Great music, but is it really possible to write lyrics as bad as these without trying to? Apparently so..

  • Maybe they had friends or family members who benefitted from the sub-titles. I like their attire but I don't remember the band.

  • I can't believe i found this.I had the white hot album about 30 years ago : D

  • its all about the hair ..lol

  • ahhhhhhhh - remember deseeding weed on the old dustcover whilst cranking angel!!!

the only visuals i ever saw were vids from don kirshner's rock concert and circus mag photos - praise baby jesus for you tube!!!!

  • Casablanca <3

OMGWTF, i bought this LP here in Swe as soon as it hit the store.

11 year and they blew me away.... never thought i would see this.. kinda lolish their outfit but this were the weird glamdays.

And stop with that comparing sheit,as i see it "The fortune" is in my top 10 still...and i have some collection..

well..they made a pile of shit also.. but what band hasnt?

  • You have to understand, the video cameras for the Saddlerack show were DISPOSABLE so the sound quality is only passable . . . but still, better than nothing! Frank just played the Kiss Expo in NY and got great reviews! Maybe someone taped it . . . .

  • Yeah I taped it for the band.

It was a great set as well but,

They were only able to do a 20 min set.

    Beause of all the bands.

  • classic ty again

  • groupie,I saw your vid ist....ty 4 posting all these,,,,not quite like it was back in the day,eh?Bet it was nostalgic still though....thanks again sorry i missed the show ...foggy

  • hey groupie, did they play at the saddlerack?damm if I missed it....been there many times...

  • SAW Angel with Mothers Finest, Humble Pie and Mahagony Rush.

  • I saw that tour also....what a gig Marino tore it up.but these guys were good.....damm,almost 30 years ago...saw this at the cow palace, daly city,ca

  • their first 2 albums were brilliant - absolute masterpieces ! the songwriting quality then proceeded to decline into lame, wimpy, dreadful pop, undoubtedly the work of record company douchebags. they were great live, though. I heard that they found out Van Halen were putting out 'you really got me', and tried to rush release their version ahead of VH - apparently, this was not successful - but things might have been different for ANGEL had this stunt catapulted them to fame instead of Dave & Co.

  • A very talented metal glam band from the 70's especially the album " Helluva Band". Highly underrated. Loved them as a teenager!

  • This band is the very reason why a lot of the music back in the day sucked. Kiss was good up until 1978. Styx, please. And how can you lump Boston in with this band or Styx? Boston were great. This band is as jokey as Spinal Tap. They suck. Spinal Tap was great though because they made fun of shit like this. haha! I'm laughing as i type because i can't believe i'm hearing this. The words alone are hilarious.

  • Thats comin from a Dylan fan, LOL LOL

  • is there any full concert available of Angel i heard rumors i seen them 3 times in the late 70`s punky rocks

  • Apparently Frank Zappa was something of a Punky Meadows fan! Ah Angel, combining the look of Queen, the sound of Styx, and the label of Kiss. Loved the song "Dr. Ice"! They should have been bigger than they were. Great stage show too, at a time when not everyone was doing big productions!

  • LOL, Zappa was making fun of him dude! Punky's Whips was the song.

  • Yeah, yeah, I got that....thanks.

  • It was Terry Bozzio playing for Frank singing

about punky and I still can't tell if he was knockin or Diggin punky?

  • It's about Terry being in love with Punky, because Punky was so damned pretty. Call it in good fun, but you tell me:

"Why, maybe he'd like to yank my crank?

    Yank it punky!

    Yank it faster!

    Yank it harder!

    Yank it all nite long!

    Come on punky!

    Get funky!"

  • ANGEL LIVE GIG! Catch Angel on April 8th at the Saddle Rack in Fremont, CA. See further details by clicking the link to the message board in the "About this Video" box!

  • Thanks for he video. I really like Gregg Guiffria after he created his own band. Too bad he is not with Either of his three bands. He is extremely talented.

  • alfin pude verlos en un video... expectacular banda... saludos de chile

  • ANGEL! THE BEST BAND EVA!!!!

  • なつかしくて涙が出そうでスー☆

    ここでangelに会えるとは思ってませんでした

    ありがとう♪

  • CALLING ALL ANGEL FANS!!! Click the link up there in the right hand corner under "About this Video" and post your Angel memories!! There is a rumor of a gig in CA in April . . . .

  • great video. I grew up on these guys. I love this song!! Thanx 4 posting!!

  • I also remember seeing a video for The Fortune a song from the same album but have been unable to find it,maybe someone out there will have better luck than I.Rock on Angel!

  • This is really REALLY cheesy.

They're like a bunch of meatheads from Jersey who wanted to be Kiss meets ELP meets Queen.

But at least it ain't boring.

    Awkward, though!

  • They were discovered and launched by Kiss on the Casablanca label.I'd listen to Angel over Kiss any Day.

  • Checkout the new ANGEL Fan Board at starzfancentral dot yuku dot com

  • i SAW tHAT aT THE Pallidium In nyc,1978,The Lineup Was THE GODZ,JUDAS PRIEST AND ANGEL WAS THE hEADLINER,Priest was touring 4 the Stained Class Album,Than saw Angel at the Capital theatre in N.J,Molly Hachett, was the opener. Great Band

  • still great dont get me wrong though.

  • the lyrics arent cheesy on this one really. its about alcohol abuse.

but there costumes, and gimmick was cheesy. first stages of glam.

  • I love angel and will have to admit

"this is at LEAST lyrically cheesy if

not horrible. but I focus on the arrangement

of the music and the compostion.

    I still like like em.

  • Loved them when I was a kid. They captured some classic 70's groves. Great band from yesteryear.

  • punky is more fluid than jeff

    oh punky

  • LOL punky's lips!

  • Haven't heard Angel in forever. Had all of their albums back in the day. Makes me feel 17 again. Thanks for posting this...

  • OH punky!!

  • You have to understand music to appreciate this band.

Not surprised the 50 cent fans below don't get.

Add a "C" before "Rap" at it says it all.

Sorry, Hip Hop....Isn't that what little bunnies do?

  • "Sorry, Hip Hop....Isn't that what little bunnies do?"

    Oh my god, I lmao'ed and rotfl'ed ;).

  • One of my favourites Angel songs. "Helluva Band" and Angel's "1st album" are two criminally underrated records, some of the finest progressive hard rock from mid-seventies.

    Thanks for posting!!

  • I couldn't agree more and already said so on some othe Angel vid. This is a classic, even if it is just a lip-sync straight to the album cut. Last I heard, Ed (Punky) was owning and operating a tanning salon in northern Virginia.

  • A comedy classic!

  • you are 100% right, i saw them in 1978 and they were a great band, great show. and they are underatted as a band, one of the few good l.a. bands

  • F*CKING A!!!!!

  • Cool!, great song, but the band doesn't have a very defined style

  • Cool! Great song.

  • Watch the Youtube video "Punky's Whips!" Hilarious!

  • Oh my...that was too funny!!!

  • Deadwood is that what you call your little winnie?

  • GREAT SONG BY ANGEL!!REMINDS ME OF QUEEN,DEEP PURPLE.

ANGEL WERE THE BLUEPRINT FOR 80S METAL BANDS.If Metal bands like Dreamtheatre and dragonforce were 70s rock

bands, they would have sounded like Angel.Angel's music could have influenced a lot of progressive symphonic metal bands of today,as well as 80s hairmetal.

  • How bout "Mariner" or "bad time"

  • Man, I love that song! thought i'd never see them do it.. WoW !

  • Awesome song; these guys had a lot of good music. My brother and I used to rock out to Angel back in the 70's. They were one of his favourite bands then.

  • some of the BEST music ever made.

as if the touching subject matter werent enough, TRUE MUSICAL PERFECTION rounds out the package. And I mean TO THE MAXX.

What you have to realize is that the ONLY way this video could be better is if the keyboard actually caught on fire while being played, not to mention PUNKY's guitar.

    IT IS THAT HOT.

  • Too All My Fellow Angel,Starz,Kiss,Nugent,Styx,Fans Keep Rocking......

  • Cool! Had "Helluva Band" on 8-track. Loved "The Fortune", "Mirrors", "Dr. Ice". Punky sounds like he must've been a big Blackmore fan. Barry Brandt was a killer drummer, too.

  • Without a doubt, THIS IS the most over-looked band!

    Not underatted, over-looked

  • WOW I didn't know there were Angel videos anywhere! GREGG GIUFFRIA ROCKS!!!!

  • cool

  • I saw Starz a couples and I remember Piper (Billy Squire). Cool.

  • Wow, this is/was so killer. The best Angel lineup. This had to have been Greg Giuffria band. Their live record was disappointing at the time because Greg's KB's were so different live. My favorites in high school were Angel, Starz, Piper, Runaways and even Rex. This was music man

  • Wow!!! Who ever got there hands on these Video's all i can say is thank you so much!!! Saw them 1978 Styx Grand Illusion Tour Nassau Coliseum

  • One of the most underrated bands ever. Way ahead of their time...

  • would be cool if someone can post more vids of ANGEL...thxs for theses...

  • Summer of '76 Manchester NH...saw Angel open for Rush and Blue Oyster Cult and Angel clearly stole the show! Punky Meadows was like a white Jimi Hendrix that night! I was blown away at how great those guys were! Years later I ended up playing in a band with them in Los Angeles....what a small world! ;-)

  • Angel was cool! Punky Meadows, and Greg Giuffria, too cool!

  • Keep 'em coming. I saw these guys in concert in Seattle (in the late '70s) with The Godz opening. Anyone have any old vids of The Godz ?

  • I've alway's liked Angel, way way under rated! AND they have the best logo design in the history of rock and roll!

  • Always liked Angel....best logo design in the history of rock and roll!

  • This song just kicks ass!!

  • Talk about a trip down memory lane. Angel was one of my favorites back in the 70s. THANK YOU!!

  • AWESOME!!!!

    Thank You!!!

  • Wow! These promos are great! This brings me back to my early teen years. I was really into these guys. Never missed any of their shows in the Cleveland, Oh area!

  • Where did you get these videos of AnGeL ? Any stuff from the Paladium in NYC ? Fortune ?
