I thought this was cruel until I saw his show live in Chicago. Not my kind of show but the cats didn't seem to mind. I know PETA was involved in monitoring the Chicago performance and they didn't make any negative comments. I actually saw the trailer where the cats are kept. It was huge, clean, and seemed to have everything they needed. Those cats live better than a lot of people I know.

I totally understand why people object to exotic animals in circuses. But, I cannot understand why anyone would object to this! Abused cats simply could not perform like this. I've taken in many abused alley cats over the years and, trust me, they are not easy to win over. This man is obviously caring for his kitties, and I think they are adorable!

I'm russian, and I've known Kuklachev since childhood. For those who write here that he's been abusing cats - go to school! Cat owners know that an abused cat would never obey and become agressive! He's a cat fan, and he's lived more with cats than with humans, so he never hurt them. He explains the will of cats to do tricks with their own character - if a cat loves climbing, he simply uses it's talent. But he would never forse any of his cats do anything a cat wouldn't want to do.

My cat can do tricks, too. If you have yummy treats that the cat loves, and lots of patience, you can train them in the same way you would a dog.
