I feel your pain. I am 33 and am in the same boat. Mom and Dad have mellowed quite a bit over the years but they both have issues with "the gay thing". Being disowned or having either one of them turn on me is perhaps what I fear most in life. My relationship with them is perfect in every other respect. We are pretty close. Ignorance may be bliss in this case. Regarding my family, I feel totally trapped.

lol :) great vid. Kool to see that some parents can accept their children for who they are. Unlike mine....came out about 4 months ago and all hell broke loose. Father got aggressive a couple of times even though i don't live with him, my mother doesnt acknowledge my existence 99% of the time and her boyfriend is a total homophobe so that doesnt help at all. Haven't came out to anyone else though. i Don't regret my decision but just wish it had of ended much like yours. Good job

Some dont even come out to them because they know their parents are totally against it.
But for the people who do come out I believe that theyre very strong, because it takes SO MUCH courage to come out to your parents. They should feel very proud when they do because its not an easy thing to do.
