Well also, even if they had a Nuclear weapon, who cares? America has a nastier weapon in store. We don't need to be intervening in foreign affairs anyway. Defend are own shores. Unfortunatly it seems like its more about offence than defence these days.

iran's nuclear program has nothing to do with the real cause for this war. it's about iran selling oil in other currencies. iran's recent practise of trading oil for gold jeopardizes the benchmark status of the US$. if utility & confidence in the greenback starts to wane, it ceases to be the safe haven it's become. american debt becomes unsustainable, as US treasury bonds will need to start paying much higher interest. then you get crisis. to avoid crisis and keep the $ strong, they need war.

On January 8, 2012 Panetta said that Iran is NOT working on a nuclear weapon. Isn't he an expert?
