She did a good job. It was out of tune quite a few times but performances can make someone nervous, so I don't care about that. I do have criticism about the detaché though. I would have much rather preferred spiccato or at least some type of shorter stroke.

Performance accidents are part of what live performances are about. If you don't think this is a difficult piece then...what do you want? A cookie? Difficulty is all relative and as someone who has studied and performed this piece myself I can say that in my opinion it is difficult. What I will say about this performance is that she kept the pace going well and despite the accidents her rendering was musically effective nonetheless. The recording quality isn't good and that's not helping.

It really isn't. Wieniawski's violin concertos are difficult, especially no 1. This is just a theme that repeats two times with a slower middle section sandwiched between them. This performance is okay, but it lacks dynamics and good bow control, what Galamian called "direction".

Apart form the minor intonation problems in the upper positions, your vibrato could be a bit freer. Try moving your wrist and fingers more. one exercise to try is to do vibrato on your right fore arm. You shouldn't be pressing down any harder than that. Otherwise a great performance!

I know that it seems they are trying to put her down, but it's just constructive feed back. No matter how hard it is, the intonation could've been much better, and it just takes more practice to achieve it. It sounds much better with good intonation, but it was still an overall good performance of the piece :).

Her sound doesn't appeal to me, but she is good. Her technique is excellent, but musically, its not very pleasing to me. Some of the leads are nice, its just too random. There is no feeling to it. I don't know if she knows how to phrase with feel. She also lacks in a bit of bow technique.  I wouldn't mind this while watching tom and jerry though ;)

I think you have your own style and should work on that using it to create your own improvisations. I do not believe your intonation is quite good enough to be highly successful but if you use the talents that you have I think you can make that violin sing and improve your style so that you hone that induvidual element in your playing.
