Saw these guys when they were on tour with Between the Buried and Me. The Bass Player jumped into the crowd to surf, we failed at catching him because we were focusing on the singer who jumped in first. we dropped the bass player, and he did a solo to make up for it after his stumble. by far the best night of my life. :)

@666Brutalius They tend to do companion releases to each record. Precambrian had a lighter disc and a heavier disc, and I believe the heavier companion to this is Anthropocentric (or at least that's what the band say)

great show btw! and this song is really good :D the singer has a good technique of screaming, he missed one screaming note during the show and that's how I saw how he did it, just buuuuuuuuh and be as relaxed as you can and your mouth open and then just a low humming of you voice and transfer that into screaming very slowly :D

How can you write such an amazing piece of music...

I love EVERY second of this record. A lot of times the drums are very complex which makes them brilliant, the guitars are heavy, bring brilliant melodies and build a rhythm-paradise. In addition the vocals are so diverse and unusual that they're not only refreshing but also very unique.

At first i compared this record to Buried Inside's new one but after listening to it several times i'll have to say it's far more overwhelming.

@FrttMs It did, but Mike Pilat is the widely known vocalist of The Ocean because he toured the most with them along with Nico. He also had a very diverse range that made him a fan favorite and one of the reasons he was the touring vocalist. He could generally emulate all the other vocalists fairly well while adding his own flair to it.
