Yeah I know,this was my first ever il2 movie and was made before I knew about Mods and Modding so I used a Default Mk8 Spifire as the game does NOT have a Mk-I Spitfire in Default Aircraft Menu.

However if you watch Battle of Britain(HD)Adler Tag. Part 2 in my Profile Page you will see that it has been Modded and the Mk I Spitfire is there along with Mk-I Hurricane.

Great song, brother. This game is awesome. PC or PS3? Looks like a documentary on the history channel. The Battle of Britain was a monumental turning point in our history. The war machine could be stopped. Love the spitfire but my plane of choice would have been the P-38 lightning. I know...i know, they were not introduce til much later. Great post.

Your right of course about the Mk-IX Spits but when I made this part of the Movie I didnt know how to MOD so used what was available.

BUT in il2 Battle of Britain[HD]Adler Tag.Part 2 I have used Mk-I Spit MOD, looks more authentic.

O.K if you mean the ammount of aircraft then this depends on which Mission builder you use,if you use the Quick Mission Builder then yes you are limited to 4 planes in your flight and 4 in each of you friendly flights

with a max of 16.

In Full Mission Editor there is no limit to the number of aircraft on either side.

However if you mean flyable aircraft then you will have to use MODS,go to All Aircraft Arcade.

Yeah mission builders work the same across all the il-2 series.

But not sure about Modding though,I use il-2 1946 which is the latest version so accepts the most up to date MODS may be different for FB

This is actually quite good. The video and music is reminiscent of the scene in the "Battle of Britain" film from 1969 with the William Walton score. It's much better than 99.9% of the other IL-2 videos on youtube (with their boring action and terrible rock music soundtracks).

I based this on the "Climax "scene in the movie and chose this piece of music because as you say it sounds so much like Sir William Walton's score,only written about 100 years earlier.

I used Full Mission Builder with Windows Movie Maker and Fraps.

Downloaded Skins from Net for Aircraft and used Movie Maker Pixelan Spice FX 4.0:Correction pack E1 for colour desaturation.

Go to All Aircraft Arcade for Mods.

Was filmed in FMB, saved as a track then recorded with Fraps.

Flying from West To East towards Sevastapol Harbour.

I used Static Camera and Wonderwoman view F1 (press 4x untill hud disappears)

Hey I found out a reason why Its lagging!

Its becuase you have Antialising!

Go to Nvida controll panel or ATI counter part and take Preformace! There you go you should get about 30-50 fps now

I have set Antialiasing to 16x to enhance the graphics and remove jaggies.

If I reduce or remove AA will this not effect the quality?

I have a powerful Quad core P.C and should be able to run at this setting BUT I am considering setting the il2 priority affinity to run on seperate core.
