Im the rare few who know the difference between faith and religion. Jesus never came to earth to start a religion. I also hate the fact that many christians today are giving that faith a bad name every single day. I always believed in live and let live and so did jesus. Religion has its place, they have given us many morals, i agree that the arguments most commonly used by christians are weak, i agree that what they believe is naive, but I also believe that to say we are the top of the line is concieted. There are to many possibilities to decide if there are such things as gods or not. Science can provide evidence against it, and christians use evidence that even when a scientific answer can't be found, is dismissed, but neither side can prove it.

It does make sense, but only given a certain set of beliefs. You take it on faith that God--as you understand it--exists. Faith = no evidence. Only then does it make sense.  You cannot justify the unnecessary suffering of even one African baby--as he puts it--for all of our "sins". Any way you slice it, that baby is not responsible for what anyone else did, just like we are not responsible for what Adam and Eve supposedly did.
