The fact that they attended "all Black schools" doesn't prevent them from functioning in racially diverse societies, nor does it inhibit in any way their ability to learn. It's pretty much the same in every nation aside from countries where we find a sizable black population descended from African slaves. If you are Chinese and are born to Chinese parents, more than likely, the majority of your classmates will be Chinese.

So the question then becomes, what is really so problematic

Sure, we live in multicultural societies and most schools do reflect that reality but I don't think children have to attend racially and ethnically mixed schools in order for the multicultural experiment to be successful. We seem to forget that the majority of the world's schools are primarily composed of "one race" if you will. Any given school outside of South Africa/Zimbabwe is usually primarily composed of Africans who belong to different ethnic groups

People should embrace this new school and make sure that it doesn't fall into the same trap that white schools have done; half truths, bias, lies by omission. I am wondering how much Native American history they will teach? Because historically, they have lost at the hands of all races, even today with black extremism.
