Then, when civilians capture abuses, they themselves become targets. @needparalegal - IN supreme court ruled that civilians CANNOT resist even illegal actions by the police - stating that is what the courts are for. The plain clothes officer takes an aggressive stance from the moment he enters the video. The other officer takes a more civil approach throughout and even looks overly cautious as he aims his taser at the women (as she appears pregnant). The plain clothes officer is obviously choking her. The plain clothes officer needs to be relieved of duty and released from the force. No doubt there is a civil suit here; with city budgets being strained to their limits, they don't need officers like this.

Up until the end she had a very non compliant attitude with both officers. Also She was not as defenseless as your making her out to be, she did fight back after the other officer took her phone away. No i dont think the first officer should have used that much forcei just think that you should pay attention to which officer is doing what

If she wasn't the driver, then why would the cops demand her ID? I bet the guy out of uniform feels like a big strong man - he punched her our of retaliation and not out of necessity. You can clearly see he threatened to assault her and chose to go through with it, because of what she said in response.
