@brandocommando33 Fuck you frustrated hater! Ashba was already awesome before joining GNR... his play and sound was great in SIXX AM. Surely he has been inspired by Slash who is a legend, but stop living in the past and face the truth! There are many other guy who can play GNR songs in better ways or different ways. Its not a matter of skill why they are 2 to play some solos. Ashba and Bumblefoot can easily play any of Slash's solo with eyes closed. They are in GNR because they are awesome!

@centcinqtiretseize You got that right ! If people would do some reading and get a grip on understanding they might open their eyes. DJ's favorite bands are Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses. DJ is a lead guitarist so out of those 2 bands, who influenced DJ ! As any musician being close to Slash's style, it is DJ and as far as DJ trying to act like Slash. Nobody hasn't paid attention to DJ in the opther bands DJ has been in. DJ is DJ and nobody else !

Too many people don't pay attention to the history of a musician and if anyone knew or did some homework on DJ there wouldn't be any complaints.DJ is carring the torch that has been handed to him since 1985. DJ is one of a kind. He acts the same as he did in the other great bands he was in. Your buddy met DJ ! WOW ! I want to meet the whole band and shake their hand ! This line up looks to be here to stay and the end of the torch being handed down.

@stoca67 I just don't care a lot about Jimi Hendrix (I love some songs, but that's it). It's like saying 99% of the directors of today suck or are not that great or relevant because before them they were Charlie Chaplin, Akira Kurosawa and Co. By the way, I think A LOT of today's directors are insanley overrated (Tarantino, Nolan, Cameron, etc.)...
