Is it stick or auto. I never knew the 996 c4s could hit that high of a speed. They say top speed is around 174mph or 280 kmh. You are hitting around 185mph, which is fast as shit. Nice. Hope to hit that kind of speed in my dads 997 c4s sometime in the future.

@m5kicksass you can hit 280 kmph on the new boxsters s.. carreras 4s can go up to 310km..nicest thing abt porsche dealership is when you buy a car from them, your name is entered into the computer so when ever the new models porsches arrive. they send you an invitation to come and test drive them on the track, and there u can floor them to the max,

Is the car stock? I have the C4S cab, I didn't know the car could hit those speeds. How was the front end at that speed? I've had mine around 200 and it started to feel a little light.

yes the car nas no tunning. frontend is very heavy above 250. maybe you should visit porsche service to check it.

u can top 300+ with the Optional X51 Carrera Power Kit, which revises the ECU, gives u bigger air intake, and sport exhaust which boosts power from 355 to 381 hp

right, but the power kit u mention is for the 997 s 1st generation, not for the 996 c4s. for 997 2nd generation(facelift, direct fuel injection) the power kit boosts power from 385 hp to 408 hp. cheers mate
