I have no doubt that this thing makes monster power, but telling people that it makes that kind of power on 87 octane is just miss-leading. Looking at the mod list in your description show its using a water/meth system. You can make 800whp on 87 if you spray enough water/meth behind it. There is no way it can make 450whp on strait 87. None the less, a very bad ass build and props to the people behind it.

@capsoval I would have to check with the owner of the car but I believe that power level is purely on 87 octane no meth, It's running higher compression and is a full closed deck build. So like I said I am not sure if it's pure 87 octane but either way this car makes crazy power!

@cbmstocks It would run on e85 but in the area we are, e85 isn't that abundant. The closest e85 to me is 20 miles away and is the complete opposite direction from where I travel regularly. So it's just not convenient or else it would be running though it.

@sheraul85 Yeah as far as I know the manufacturer recommends 5W-30. 20w is too thick for it. I would stick with whatever it says you should use for the oil type it says on your oil fill cap. The brand doesn't matter but the weight is very important. So if it says 20w-50 then stick with that.

There's a group of obsessive-compulsive oil guys who get the stuff analyzed regularly and they've come to the conclusion that Shell Rotella T synthetic is the best oil. It's made for heavy duty diesels, so not only is the oil itself of top quality, but the additive package is better. Diesel oils don't have to meet gasoline oil standards with regards to potential emissions, so Rotella is loaded up with good stuff.

Those guys are crazy about oil. They send it into a lab every change to have it checked out, and the lab says Rotella-T 5-30 synthetic is the best out there. RP and Amsoil are good, but for the price you pay, Rotella gives you the same protection for half the price.

That said, these tests have shown me that for most cars, it doesn't really matter. I run NAPA 5-30 conventional and a WIX filter in my N/A Subaru and it's fine.

Nope not at all. The 03 models hold up to about 400 crank hp if the driver has a brain. This car has a highly modded tranny. Straight cut gears made from billet steel.

GT35R running 30psi. The same company did the stuff on my 03 WRX and I have a GT30R running 18psi and my car makes huge power. Just last night I raced an STi with a GT35R running 25psi and I killed him lol. He just didn't have it set up right and when we raced he got the jump and turned on his hazard lights and I was like ah no you don't buddy lol. Yeah I caught up pretty quick and raped him, he claimed afterwards that I was running something else or that I was running 30psi or something. noobs.

Yes it is a fantastic machine. The guy that owns it drives it daily to and from work and still gets over 20mpg city when he treats it nice. But it still does 0-60 in 3 seconds flat. Would be faster but spinning all 4 wheels makes it hard to get traction. Check out the rest of the vids there are 4 of them. I got to ride in the car and it is a total monster it runs a 9 second 1/4 mile and he drives it daily. He spent $195,000 on it in totaly with labor and everything. But in short this is a EJ22 closed deck with EJ35 sleeves capable of handling 50psi. Rotated Custom GT35R Turbo with 1,000CC injectors. Stage 4 custom heads and cams for increased low rpm (pre-turbo) hp and tq. This car makes peak TQ at 3500 rpms.

Yeah I put on every mod on my car and I did all the tuning and it runs perfect. I am NHRA Certified to drive outlaw class cars and since you don't know what that means I can drive cars that run as fast as 8.0 in the 1/4 which in oklahoma you MUST have in order to run a car down the track. I started building drag cars with my dad when I was 8 and I have been doing it ever since. I am sorry that you are jealous that I am doing well enough to have the things I want unlike you. They do a fantastic job and the best part is that the car is still so reliable after they are done. I know places that tune up WRX's and all they do is slap on a turbo and crank up the boost but these guys won't do anything that isn't high quality. They usually wont put more than 18psi on your car. yeah these guys are just phenominal. They did such a good job on my car I am putting the word out as much as I can about them. Now they are the most expensive that I have run into but they are the best. And this guy that has the 800hp subie in the vid drives this car for a daily driver and he gets 25mpg on the highway if he keeps his foot out of it. And he has driven 50,000 miles with NO problems.
