  • Wow...nice job! I didn't think it was slow at all, sounds just about right to me.

  • True, the original Norfair's theme IS the easiest Norfair theme ever, even easier then it's remake counter part Metroid Zero Mission. Anyway, Great song.

  • Not too slow at all. Nice homage to the original.

  • The emptiness actually does feel good... the original was also like this

    Good job, dude

  • that is awesome!

  • Both the original and Brawl version sound good, but I'd prefer the original when playing whatever Metroid includes the track. Sometimes I wonder how it would work if Zero Mission did the original only with a standard GBA sound spectrum...

  • When I ended up stranded in Norfair the first time(cuz I got lost all the friggin time) I thought i was some how near the game.....theres something kind of quiet and ominous to it......then I got a map of the fricken game and could see I was no where near the end! haha

  • What would Koji Kondo say?

  • He would probably be impressed but, one person who would really like this would be Hirokazu "Hip" Tanaka. He composed Metroid's music.

  • Good lord! this is unbelievable! Which is weird since i just heard...so i guess that makes it believable. Huh. Weird. Good job though.

  • It feels a bit... emptier than the original (I suppose due to the inabilities of MPC) but it is very good!

  • sounds just like the original to me

  • sounds just like the original 5/5

  • too slow, and some of the gaps are too big, but nice job. ^^

  • for some strange reason, when i hear this song when im in a sad mood i feel better.

  • wtf guys this is exatly how its suppost to sound!

  • thats perfect man!

  • Too slow. But it is ok.

  • you can change the tempo

  • I know that

  • then, why'd you say...

    that thing you said?

  • I said it was too slow, meaning that it is too slow and he should change it! I know that he can, and I'm saying he should because it's too slow. Do I really need to explain this to you? Honestly, it's a not a hard to understand statement or anything.

  • that whole comment seemed kinda redundant but, ok i get your point

  • The tempo was pretty much done by ear. You're right tho in that it feels bit slow and empty, but that's pretty much how the original was. I've been thinking about making another version based more on the Zero Mission mix of it. We'll see. Just gotta make the time to make more videos. :/

  • @Hatchet2k4 Actually, the tempo's fine if you listen to the original.

  • @Hatchet2k4 Actually, the tempo is nearly perfect.

  • @Hatchet2k4

that's damn near exactly the way it's supposed to sound. what do these shitters want?...a speed metal version...lol

  • Accurate representation of the original NES classic's theme. Well done.

  • Think you can do Tourain?

  • Is there even any music in Tourian? I don't remember any.

  • It's like a few notes, with bubbly sounds thrown in.

  • Amazing job. Some parts feel too slow, but I'm just a youtube critic :D

  • woah norfair with a slight emo touch to the tones yet very good

  • How Do you make the # sigh's?

  • This is using Mario Paint Composer (and not the original Mario Paint). In that program if you hold ctrl or shift when placing a note you can get sharps and flats. :)

  • WOW, Thats amazing! I love this game and this song, very good man awesome!!

  • my favorite part star at 0:17. thank for making it.

  • Nice!

  • Excellent replica of original Upper Norfair! Now, would you be willing to attempt a remix of Super Metroid's Lower Norfair, because that would be awesome!

  • Nice job dude it's great

  • Thanks, glad you liked it. :)
