there are only so many shapes you can incorporate into an airplane due to aerodynamics. everything will look alike in years to come. all phones have numberpads dont they? so who copied who?

@theaviribidityofwtr , it's just to easy to see a new plane, build by somebody else, study its aerodynamics and build another one , i'm a pilot and i'm not so sure about it's being more advanced but usally countries appreciate the industries capacities of develpment new "profiles"... rather than low cost without guarantees that the project will continue to devolop after it starts to be operative ...

why not? we can always rely on sophisticated surface to air missles (Russian or American) that can shoot down these multi-million dollar planes. Not even the best trained pilots can avoid them. Sure let them invade, but any country with thousands of SAMs can make it costly for a country to invade. Cost of a SAM missle: at least 300k each. Cost of each modern fighter? at least $ 10 million. Duh.

The paint job won't be permanent, though. They might keep some of it blue, but the paint's gonna depend on the mission

Why dont' you check out my JL-9 /FTC-2000 video; the JL-9 trainer has a top speed of Mach 2 and can supercruise at Mach 1.6
