  • So funny. But... I know I've heard this story before (first time seeing this video), but it was phrased slightly differently. Is there a text version of this somewhere maybe?

I know the version I heard started out with the storyteller saying that there had been a child with down syndrome missing from some kind of organized group for children with down syndrome that were going through the woods, one of them got lost. The rest pretty much goes like how the girl tells it here.

  • As much as I love - adore, even - the music of Grizzly Bear - I can't stand them all at the gathering, wearing plaid, looking all 'woodsy' and try-hard folk - forcing laughter at the curly-haired young woman, who is telling a story that is offensive and unamusing - sucking up to her and all of the other pretentious musician-type 'folksy' 'artistes', trying to show their amusement at this story as if it's something they may be able to relate to after their many 'trips'.

  • @MonkeyOnTheContrary i can sense the strong projection in your post hahaha. chill out with your judgements, it's just people having a good time with good vibes, nothing more.

  • Everyone else laughing made me laugh :D

  • Cool story bro.

  • Dan is certainly not amused ... and you can tell that he's uncomfortable.... But this is a candid slice of life on the road .. no biggie .... I've seen some crazier things then that during my trips

  • That is the lamest joke and wasn't even funny as it was told. I guess you gotta be drunk and stupid to appreciate it.

  • lol Dan was not amused by that joke.

  • hahaha. "where is home?" "where IS home??" whoaa

  • "Uhhh, dudes. This isn't a gnome. This is a child with down syndrome."

    Holylololol.

  • What was the fricken gnome? I cant hear what she said...

  • Turn it up. It's worth the punchline.

  • This is amazing! Hahahaha, I was laughing so much. I felt like I was there, aw.

  • cool

  • this story is old as shit. it didn't happen to her friend.

  • true. i heard it a thousand times

  • That's definitely one of the best shroom stories I've ever heard.
