I don't mind the multicultural part, but I still don't get why it is set in Japan! It is still a period drama, its shakespeare's words, and so far there is very little significant Japanees culture in it - so why not just set the scene where Shakespeare did?
I so appreciated the moments where the ladies conspired to get away ...they absolutely nailed the spirit of the intrigue ...I imagined my self a part of the secret ...easily so because of the brilliance of the portraiture

I think this multicultural version is a little weird, but on the whole everyone does a great job in their respective roles.
